“Madeline, are you okay? Are you feeling sick?”
Brenda could only make out the faint sound of rustling from inside the room. Madeline’s voice was barely audible, so Brenda pressed her ear closer, trying to catch her words.
Madeline bit down on her lower lip and took a shaky breath. “No, I’m fine. You can go back to… mmm…”
She barely finished her sentence when Julian, that shameless jerk, had already slipped most of her clothes off.
“What are you doing?” Madeline glared up at him, her voice low and sharp. Even though she was furious, she kept her voice down.
“I told you what I want,” Julian said, leaning in. His breath was warm and laced with the scent of alcohol, making her even dizzier.
Madeline felt her cheeks burn with a mix of anger and embarrassment. She slapped a hand over his mouth, trying to shut him up.
The heat of his lips against her palm startled her, making her pull her hand back without thinking.
Her mind was a mess. All she could focus on was getting Brenda out of here before trying to handle Julian.
“Madeline? I can’t really hear you…”
Madeline bit her lip harder. Julian had no intention of letting her go. His strong arms held her in place, and his kisses left her with nowhere to run.
She was too scared to make a sound. Every time she tried, Julian would nip at her, making any noise she made sound way too suggestive.
She shot him a deadly glare and whispered, “Enough already.”
“You want your best friend to see us like this?”
Madeline clutched her clothes tightly. Of course she didn’t. Julian might not care about his reputation, but she did.
“What’s it going to take for you to leave me alone?”
“Kiss me.”
Madeline narrowed her eyes and pressed her lips together.
“You won’t?” Julian gave her a cold, mocking laugh. “Then why are we even talking?”
“You are such a pervert.”
Julian shrugged and grinned. “So what? Do you like it?”
“I hate you.”
