Verena texted: [Sure, let's do that when I'm off this weekend.]
...
After chatting with Verena, Drusilla saw Enoch sitting on the couch by the window, engrossed in some work documents.
He was wearing a light beige sweater, and the lamp light made his features look exceptionally refined.
Drusilla stood up and walked over to him. "Enoch."
He looked up from the book in his hands. "What's up?"
"It's getting late, let me get the acupuncture kit ready for you."
"Aren't you feeling under the weather? You can rest."
"I'm fine," Drusilla assured. "I'm actually feeling pretty good right now."
Enoch looked skeptical.
Knowing what he was worried about, Drusilla added, "Your leg is important. I wouldn't joke about that."
With that, she went to prepare the necessary items for the acupuncture.
While assisting Enoch, she ventured, "Oh, Enoch, the kids stopped by last night. You didn't see them, did you?"
"No."
"Do you think maybe you'd want to meet them sometime?" Drusilla asked.
Hearing this, Enoch frowned and asked, "Are you testing me?"
"Testing?"
