Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 220

"...Nope."

"You're such a dad," Drusilla finally gave up struggling. She took a seat and pulled out her phone, shooting a text to Verena.

[Cormac and Colton just got to the Taylors. I'll head back later to pick some stuff up and swing by. What time do you get off?]

[Six.]

[Then I'll come over after.]

[Okay.]

Enoch turned to Drusilla, saying, "I'd like to see the kids."

Drusilla looked at Enoch, replying, "How about I bring them here? It's easier than you having to move around."

Enoch nodded at her suggestion. "Sounds good."

With Enoch's agreement, Drusilla stepped out to go to Cormac and Colton's room.

Their room was just next door. When Blythe was preparing the rooms, she thoughtfully arranged for the boys' room to be beside Enoch's, making it easier for the little ones to be close to their parents.

As she approached the door, about to enter, she heard Lilith's voice inside, "Colton."

Lilith sat on the couch, watching Colton who was busy assembling a model at the side, saying, "Do you like this gift?"

"Yeah." Colton responded coolly.

Lilith continued, "I bought it for you, knew you'd like something like this. If you like it, I can get you another one next time, okay?"

Colton glanced up at Lilith upon hearing this. He liked the gift, but he wasn't exactly fond of Lilith.

Lilith pressed on, "Why don't you like me, huh? You don't even talk to me. It makes me sad!"

Colton pursed his lips, not that he didn't want to talk to her, but her habit of speaking ill of Drusilla made it hard for him to warm up to her.

Lilith said, "Your mom and I are really good friends. If she's ever not around, I'll take good care of you guys."
