He said, "How about I take the young masters out for a bit? There's a fun fair outside, and they must be bored sitting in here."
Cormac, hearing this, nodded eagerly, "Yeah!"
Kids do love to play, and sitting here was making him restless.
Plus, he really didn't want to see his parents fighting.
Oberon gratefully glanced at Cormac, thankful for his help in diffusing the situation.
He quickly led the two children out, and soon, the room was left with only Drusilla and Enoch.
Drusilla sat to the side, massaging her temples, regretting arguing with Enoch in front of the children. It was so inappropriate!
She had been in a bad state these past few days, her emotions all over the place, suddenly feeling the need to reflect on her actions.
After the children left, Drusilla and Enoch sat in silence, attentively watching the performance.
The stage was graced by some of the big stars, among them was Althea. She had just finished singing, descending from the stage in her dazzling gown, outshining many tonight.
