Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 356

"Dad," Drusilla turned to her father with a worried look. "Do you think this is my fault? Harlan came over to chat, and his wife saw us. She got jealous, but I didn't do anything. This Saskia is just picking on me because she thinks I have no one to back me up."

Leander listened to Saskia's accusations, knowing full well Drusilla was innocent.

"Saskia," he said firmly, "you’re crossing the line. Do you really think the Lawson family has no one to stand up for them?"

Saskia sneered, "You're just defending her..."

"Of course I am. She's my daughter," Leander chuckled. "Speaking of which, isn’t it time we addressed how you've been treating her all these years?"

"Me? Mistreat her? Ever since she married into our family, I've treated her well!" Saskia denied vehemently.

Drusilla, sitting calmly, smirked. "I knew you'd play dumb and act all innocent."

She pulled out her phone, tapping a few times before playing a recording of Saskia's earlier words.

Before engaging in any argument, Drusilla had made sure Saskia admitted to her insulting words.

Saskia’s expression darkened. "That’s your idea of bullying? You haven’t even addressed your own infidelity. You claim you have friends at the hospital, so why not have them testify for you? I’d love to see who sides with a cheating woman!"

Drusilla listened patiently before replying, "My friends are busy, no need to drag them into this. But I do have recordings of my conversations with your son, which I think you’ll find interesting."

With that, Drusilla played another recording.

"That Enoch is useless. Can't even stand on his own two feet. How desperate are you to be with a man like him?"
