Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 82

Drusilla was indeed worried about Enoch!

Even though she was quite confident in her physiotherapy skills, each person's situation is unique, with exceptions to every rule.

Cybele said, "I'll send you the address on WhatsApp."

"Got it."

Drusilla got up, dressed, and headed out.

Exiting the elevator, she received Cybele's address just in time.

It was a tricky time to find a cab, so she hailed an Uber and rushed to the hospital.

Upon arriving, she asked about the ward number but before she could get there, she bumped into Serge Denton.

"Drusilla," he called out to her.

Dressed in his white lab coat, he was tall and strikingly handsome.

Drusilla said, "I came to see how Enoch is doing. What's his condition?"

"Oh," Serge replied. "I was just about to check on him too. Let's go together."

He was more familiar with the hospital than Drusilla, who seemed a bit lost.

Following Serge, Drusilla quickly reached Enoch's room.

Oberon stepped out of the room and saw them. "Dr. Denton, Madam."

He was surprised to see Drusilla. "What brings you here?"

"I heard Enoch had an accident, so I got a bit worried and came to check on him. How is he?"

On the way, Drusilla had all sorts of thoughts racing through her mind!

She even imagined her family facing bankruptcy.

Observing Drusilla's anxious demeanor, Oberon said, "The doctor just finished examining him. You can go in and see him."

Weren't you supposed to be at home taking care of the kids? And yet, here you are at the hospital!

Drusilla replied, "Cybele told me you had an accident, so I came to check on you. But it seems like you’re okay."

If it were serious, Baxter and Blythe wouldn't have left so soon.

Enoch said, "My leg hurts, but the doctor said it’s a good sign."

He had been feeling nothing in his legs before. Now that there's pain, it's a significant improvement. The doctor prescribed some medication and advised staying in the hospital for observation.

Drusilla sighed in relief, a weight lifting from her heart.

Seeing her reaction, Enoch raised an eyebrow. He hadn't expected her to be so worried about him.

Running to the hospital in the middle of the night instead of sleeping at home?

Honestly, Enoch was a bit touched. After all, she seemed more considerate than women like Odette!

He glanced at Serge, who had come to see him. "I’m fine. Go on with your work."
