Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 95

Though the teacher knew the twins were downright adorable, she couldn't quite get used to the crowd they drew wherever they went. It was mainly the worry of attracting trouble. In that case, she was just eager to get them home.

"But I have to wait for my mom," Cormac said.

"You'll see your mom after school. Let's head back, and I'll give her a call."

After all, the teacher wasn't just responsible for Colton and Cormac; there were other kids in her care, and she couldn't let anything hold up their schedule.

With reluctance, Cormac allowed himself to be led away.

It didn't take long for Drusilla to receive a message from the daycare teacher, followed by a call from Cormac.

Drusilla didn't say much in response as she read the message. She understood the teacher was just being responsible.

Meanwhile, Blythe was still reeling from the charm of seeing the twins earlier. Catching up with Drusilla, she greeted her.

“What were you guys looking at earlier?" Drusilla asked.

Blythe shared, "I just saw those twins again, the ones from the live stream. Gosh, they look just like Enoch. I'm seriously wondering if they're related to him."

Drusilla replied somewhat evasively, "I doubt that's the case."

"It's not impossible," Blythe insisted. "How else would you explain such a coincidence? If they're part of our family, we can't just leave them out there. We need to bring them home."

The idea of children from the Taylor family growing up outside their care was unthinkable to Blythe.

Hearing Blythe's words, Drusilla became wary. She had planned on introducing the twins to her, given how much she seemed to like them.

But now, Blythe’s words put her on alert.

"But they look so alike!" Blythe insisted. "I'll show you their pictures."

She was about to pull up photos of Cormac and Colton on her phone as she said this. The twins were quite the sensation online with numerous memes made by their fans. Blythe had collected quite a few.

Enoch showed little interest and retorted to his mother, "If I had kids out there, I'd have brought them home by now. No need for you to keep nagging me about having children."

His mother's favorite pastime was indeed pressuring him to start a family.

Given his brother's job situation, which kept him away and unmarried even now, his mother pinned all her hopes on Enoch.

"You can't compare yourself with your brother. He's tied up with work. You, on the other hand, need to start a family soon. It would make your grandfather happy to see his great-grandchildren before he passes."

Though Kendrick already had children, they carried the Larkin name, not the Taylor bloodline. This was a distinction his mother cared deeply about.
