Chapter 326
So Fiona was waiting for her client to come down from upstairs.
At 6:05, Josephine rushed out of her room with her phone and took the elevator downstairs.
After getting out of the elevator, Josephine looked towards the hotel entrance.
At 6:07, Xavier and Claude walked into the Beltran Hotel. Claude went to the boutique, and Xavier ran into Josephine in front of the elevators.
Fiona saw Xavier, got up and followed him, then raised her phone to take a picture of him and Josephine standing together.
She sent it to Aveline that night.
That’s why Aveline rushed to the Beltran Hotel to catch him cheating.
Xavier and Josephine got into the elevator and went to the 18th floor together. They stood outside the presidential suite, room 1808, and talked for a bit.
Xavier went into the room and closed the door.
Josephine stood outside, looking at the door for a moment before returning to her presidential suite, room 1806.
It turned out Claude had gone to the boutique to buy a suit. He then went upstairs and entered the presidential suite, room 1808.
At 6:30, Josephine and a man and woman whom Aveline didn’t recognize came out of the presidential suite, room 1806, walked to 1808, and rang the doorbell.
Claude opened the door and let them into the room.
At 6:42, Claude left room 1808 and took the elevator down.
At 7:45. Aveline stormed into the Beltran Hotel.
In the video, Claude was standing in the lobby talking to the driver, Amy. He saw Aveline, but Amy didn’t.
Claude watched Aveline run toward the elevators but didn’t call out to her.

Chapter 326
Aveline reached room 1808 and rang the doorbell Xavier opened the door, wearing a white bathrobe
Aveline would never forget what happened next
Watching her desperate self in the video, Aveline couldn’t control the trembling in the hand that held the mouse
Xavier watched her retreating figure for a moment, then Josephine opened the door and called to him. He turned and went back into the room.
Aveline bit her lower lip and kept watching.
At 7:55, two hotel waiters brought a room service cart to room 1808.
A few minutes later, Claude went back up to the room, and Josephine opened the door for him.
At 8:20, Claude opened the door and came out, followed by Xavier, who was wearing a suit.
The two of them took the elevator downstairs and left the Beltran Hotel.
Josephine and the couple stayed in room 1808 until 9:34 before leaving and returning to room 1806
At 10:03, Josephine and Marjorie came out of room 1806 and left the Beltran Hotel.
When she sent the edited video, Fiona had told Aveline that after Josephine and Marjorie left the Beltran Hotel, Josephine didn’t return to the hotel at all that night until morning.
Neither did Xavier.
Aveline closed the video, got up, walked to the bed, lay down, and stared blankly at the ceiling.
After a moment, she picked up her phone and called Fiona.
Fiona answered quickly, “Finished watching?”
Aveline replied, “Yeah.”
Fiona said, “That night Xavier left the Beltran Hotel, he probably rushed to the airport to go abroad,”
Aveline gave a flat “mm-hmm.”
Fiona wasn’t surprised by Aveline’s low spirits, because from the video, there was nothing incriminating about Xavier and Josephine that night to use as evidence of his affair in court.

Fiona asked. “Do you know the two people who met Xavier at the coffee shop, or the man and woman who were with Josephine?
Aveline replied. “No Who are they?”
Fiona said. “The two at the coffee shop are in politics. They’re in charge of the Mount Ardwood development zone Xavier was probably discussing the Mount Ardwood project development with them”
“As for the man and woman with Josephine, Katie looked into them. The man’s a director and producer, the woman’s a screenwriter. They’re pretty well-known in the industry for making commercial films”
Fiona gave Aveline their names, telling her she could find their info by searching online.
Aveline understood. “So you’re telling me Josephine wants Xavier to invest in her movie, and that’s why she introduced him to that director and screenwriter that night?”
Fiona replied. “We can only see the video, there’s no audio. We don’t know what they said or if they planned to meet.”
“But Xavier could just say it was a chance encounter, and Josephine took the opportunity to introduce them.”

When is the novel ending? It’s so unnecessarily long… not a single intimacy or connection just fighting and bickering from the beginning to end...
