**A Divorce**
**Chapter 801**
Xavier’s gaze locked onto Bryan with an intensity that demanded action. “Hand the photos over to Amy,” he instructed, his voice steady but laced with an undercurrent of urgency.
Bryan, feeling the weight of the moment, retrieved his phone and swiftly sent the images to Amy. The air was thick with tension as she received the photos, and without hesitation, she approached Bryan with a fierce determination. “If there’s anything else you’re hiding…” Her voice dripped with a mix of accusation and warning.
Bryan, wearing a bitter smile that barely concealed his unease, interjected, “Mr. Beltran has already discovered the truth about Stephen. What more could I possibly conceal? All I did was accept money from Stephen and Courtney.” His words hung in the air, tinged with desperation.
Amy’s response was icy, her tone cutting through the silence like a knife. “You took Mr. Beltran’s money too, you ungrateful piece of shit. How dare you lie to him!” The anger radiating from her was palpable, and in a fit of rage, she kicked Bryan, her frustration boiling over.
Bryan cried out, collapsing onto the floor, the pain sharp and immediate. “Mr. Beltran is a good man! He gave me money without asking for anything in return. But Stephen and Courtney made me sign an IOU. If I don’t comply with their demands, they’ll force me to repay it. It’s ten million—where am I supposed to find that kind of money?” His voice trembled, a mix of fear and pleading.
Amy, unsympathetic, delivered another swift kick. “You’re a hopeless bastard. You gambled away ten million, and every single penny Mr. Beltran entrusted you with—you squandered that too.” Her words cut deep, a harsh reminder of Bryan’s failures.
“Have you ever even considered your wife and kids?” she spat, her eyes blazing with indignation.
Bryan, desperate to defend himself, retorted quickly, “I didn’t gamble it all away! I gave them money!” His voice was shaky, but he clung to the hope that his words might somehow sway her.
Amy scoffed, her disbelief evident. “How much did you give them?” The skepticism in her tone was unmistakable; she found it hard to believe that a gambler like him would prioritize his family.
Bryan muttered, barely above a whisper, “A hundred… a hundred thousand.”
Xavier’s brow furrowed at that revelation, disappointment washing over him.
Unable to contain her fury any longer, Amy kicked him once more, her frustration reaching a boiling point. “You took money from both sides, tens of millions, and you only managed to give your wife and kids a measly hundred thousand. You’re a heartless piece of shit!”
Bryan, now on the floor, begged for mercy, his voice cracking as he promised he would never gamble again. “Please, just a little money for food,” he pleaded, turning his gaze toward Xavier, desperation etched on his face.
Xavier, however, turned a cold shoulder and walked out, leaving Bryan to wallow in his own despair.

When is the novel ending? It’s so unnecessarily long… not a single intimacy or connection just fighting and bickering from the beginning to end...
