Naomi stood rooted to the spot, letting out a laugh that was more anger than amusement.

Insisting she come, only to pull a stunt like this. Why were these people so determined to cause drama?

Naomi wanted to turn around and leave, but since she’d promised to come, she felt she should at least make an appearance. So, she went into the private room.

Everyone greeted her warmly when she arrived.

Seeing Naomi being treated like the center of attention, a flicker of displeasure crossed Tiffany’s eyes. It was quickly replaced by a smile as she told Zebulon she was going to the restroom.

One person’s absence didn’t change much. Everyone kept pulling Naomi into conversations. Though she wasn’t used to this much attention, she didn’t want to be a wet blanket.

A little while later, Zebulon suddenly tossed his phone to her. “Tiffany’s looking for you.”

His tone made it sound like she owed him a million dollars.

Naomi frowned. “What for?”

Zebulon clicked his tongue. “Why don’t you answer and find out?”

Naomi’s annoyance grew, but she picked up the phone and answered.

“Hello.”

“Naomi, my period just started, and I’m stuck in the restroom. Could you please bring me a pad? Thank you so much, Naomi~”

Naomi took a deep breath. She was about to suggest calling a waitress to help, but Tiffany abruptly hung up.

Naomi was stunned.

Considering it was a girl-in-need situation, Naomi went to the front desk to get what was needed and headed to the restroom.

“Naomi, you’re here!”
