Who’s the Dog Now? novel Chapter 60

With no time to overthink it, Naomi used her own experiences as an example to explain her understanding of unrequited love.

The interviewers nodded frequently, clearly more than satisfied with her answer.

Lennon, however, showed no particular reaction after she finished. He simply said, “You guys handle it,” and got up to leave.

The interviewers were baffled.

If he wasn't going to make the final decision, why had he come at all? Just to ask that one strange question?

They exchanged glances, and finally, Steven stood up and said with a smile, “Congratulations, you’re hired!”

“If you’re free, you can fill out the hiring paperwork now and get your computer. Given that you’re a student, we can arrange for you to work remotely. You’ll be responsible for character design. Our studio is just starting out, so we all share the workload. If you ever feel overwhelmed, just let us know.”

“When you don't have classes, you can come into the office, and we'll have meetings to properly assign tasks.”

“Also, our interns are paid ten thousand a month, plus meal and travel allowances. Is that acceptable to you?”

Naomi's eyes widened. “Ten thousand a month for an intern?”

Tyra was known for its high cost of living and low wages.

Although artists in this industry were well-paid, she was still just a self-taught intern. To be offered such a high salary was truly shocking.

“Yes, and you’ll earn even more once you become a full-time employee.”

Steven didn't specify the amount, but it was clear that if interns were paid this well, the full-time salary would be substantial.

Naomi nodded in a daze.

“I can accept that.”
