Back in Time to Fall for Him novel Chapter 74

All the executives exchanged glances upon hearing what Sam said. No one uttered a word, and silence hung eerily in the air.

Madison looked around with curiosity. That was her first Goodwin Corp meeting, and the atmosphere was oppressive.

Sam looked around at his silent subordinates. He frowned and asked impatiently, "Is no one going to go first? Or have you not finished the work?"

Someone instantly replied, "No, sir. We've completed our work."

Sam swept them all with an icy gaze and asked with dissatisfaction, "In that case, why isn't anyone presenting?"

The executives exchanged glances once more, but no one dared to reply to Sam. They couldn't possibly say that they were worried about Madison sitting in on such an important meeting and that she might sell out corporate secrets, right?

After all, Madison had done it before, but Sam would hear none of it. They knew that she was under his protection.

There was even once a rumor in the office that offending Sam was not as terrifying as crossing Madison. If one offended Sam, he might give them a chance to repent.

However, if someone were to cross Madison, Sam would hunt them to the ends of the earth.

Sienna cast the cowardly executives a disdainful glance before standing and saying, "Mr. Goodwin, it's not that they refuse to present. It's just that there's an outsider here."

She swept Madison, who was behind Sam, with a glance before looking at him once more.

"Mr. Goodwin, this project's vital to the company as it'll affect how we control the foreign market in the future. We can't afford a single mistake."
