Chapter 15
David clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles turned white, bloodshot eyes misty with tears as he lost control, smashing his laptop onto the floor.
He kicked over the wine tower in a frenzy, shattered the large screen, grabbed documents scattered with broken glass, and crushed them in his hands. Blood stained the white papers, dripping onto the floor.

Seeing him regain composure, Helen felt momentary relief–he still cared for her.
But his next words plunged her into an icy abyss.
“Once I uncover all your crimes, I’ll make you experience what’s worse than death.”
Murderous intent flashed across David’s usually gentle features as he ordered Helen dragged away.
Helen froze in terror, only finding her voice to plead when hauled from the banquet hall.
“David! I’m innocent-
“Mr. Green. We meet again rather soon.”
