Chapter 210
Rania stared at the intruder without blinking her eyes, she watched as the beast stalked towards. He seemed to take his time, knowing she wouldn’t be able to scream for help.
Looking around, Rania tried to find something to defend herself, even though her chance to survive was close to zero if she had to take this beast head on.
Her only chance to survive this was to alert Lucian and Ares, who were standing outside of the door. But, how?
Rania got out of the bed and tried to put a distance from the beast, as she inched closer towards the flower
vase.
And when the beast attacked her, she threw the flower vase at him and ran towards the bathroom. She pushed the door close before the beast could get her and locked it.
From outside, Rania heard Lucian and Ares called for her because they heard the commotion.
“My queen! Are you alright? What happened inside?!” Lucian called in distressed and when there was another noisy sound, he became impatient. “I will get in!” He announced himself.
And soon enough, Rania heard the fighting sound from inside the bedroom, as Lucian and Ares tried to take down the intruder.
The sound of their snapping jaw and the angry roar from the beasts made Rania tremble in fear, she sat down behind the door, hugging herself, waiting for the fight to end quickly.
She hoped Lucian and Ares would be fine, after all the two of them outnumbered the beast.
But then she heard that roaring growl of pain. Even from the sound of it alone, she knew the beast was in an excruciating agony.
Who was that? The intruder? Lucian or Ares?

Kyle was holding Lyle’s body, as he cried for his dead twins. He bent his body and roared angrily.
Meanwhile, Lyle’s body didn’t stop oozing out blood, as one of the royal warriors managed to get his vital spot. Blood pooled around him, and his healing ability was not able to keep up with the wound.
“No! No! NO! NOT MY BROTHER!” Kyle was crying so hard, but Lyle was not the only warrior who died.
Jasmine was sitting on the beach, she was speechless upon seeing the massacre before her eyes. This was too
much.
They needed to move quickly before the reinforcement came to get them.
This was their desperate attempt to survive, as they managed to fight and kill all of the royal warriors, who
came after them, but they wouldn’t be able to withstand another battle if reinforcement came.
Jasmine approached Killian, who was staring at the sunset. He stayed still, doing nothing. He just witnessed the death of his mother, as she sacrificed herself to protect him.
‘Take care of your mate, take care of your child.‘
That was the last thing that Elena said before life was drained out of her face through the mindlink. She died without knowing that the baby in Jasmine’s stomach was not even his.
However, Killian couldn’t take her body, because they were in the middle of the battle. He didn’t even get a chance to hold her for the last time, because they had to move quickly, so they could separate the royal warriors from the other, giving them a chance to survive.
“Killian…” Jasmine approached Killian, she hugged him from behind and pressed her face against his back. “I am sorry. I am sorry for your lost.”
Killian looked down and saw Jasmine’s arms that wrapped around his body.
He felt like he got the karma for what he had done to Adrian. He lied to Jasmine that he had buried her brother, and now he didn’t even get a chance to hold his mother for one last time.
Killian placed his hand over Jasmine’s. “We will avenge your father, and brother, and all the warriors who died here. We will survive and come back to kill the king.”
Jasmine hugged him a little bit tighter. “We will avenge your mother too.”
The sun was set, leaving a beautiful hue of red light on the sky, and this was the most beautiful sight that Jasmine had ever seen for the last few months, as the fugitive.
“We need to move now! Get up! We need to reach the ship if you want to survive!” Royal Beta Gerald shouted. He urged them to move and leave the dead body behind.
They didn’t have time to bury them, therefore they brought the dead body to the sea and let the nature kept them.
Kyle stood there silently, as he watched his twin brother’s body was being taken away by the wave. He let his legs drenched, as he prayed for his brother safe pass to the after world.
“We will meet again, brother… we will meet again.” He clenched his fists tightly and then turned around to
leave.
The rest of them followed as well after they watched their fellow’s warrior’s dead bodies were taken away.
From afar, they saw their ship, this was their only way to get out of this kingdom and reached the Barlukan.
The port would be twenty minutes away if they walked, but it would be faster for them to shift into their beast, even though they were too exhausted to maintain their beast form, but they couldn’t delay this any longer.
Alpha Winter then walked towards Killian, he spoke viciously.
“All of this happened because of your sister. Your sister who had brought those royal warriors here. I will kill him the first chance I got and I don’t care what you are going to say. I will kill you too if you want to stop me.
Killian looked at alpha Winter coldly, even his voice sounded very dark when he spoke. “I will not. You can do whatever with her. She better not to meet me,” Killian said, he grabbed Jasmine’s hand and told her to shift.
Both of them shifted into their beast and headed towards the ship.
