It didn’t take a genius to guess what was inside Gerald’s dirty mind. “Get off me,” Jasmine said sternly. She kept her voice low, but you wouldn’t mistake the anger behind it.

“Go back to your room and don’t roam around,” Killian said to Jasmine, his voice was stern, as if he was holding back his anger, or it might be only Jasmine’s overthinking things.

“Okay.” Jasmine immediately left. She didn’t look back, and rushed into her bedroom in the lower deck. She felt humiliated.
