“What do you mean with that?!” Alpha Winter was insulted.

Putting the silver bracelet on meant you are nothing, but a criminal, because only them, who would be restrained from shifting into their beast.
It was nothing but a humiliation to wear one.
Killian immediately took Royal Beta Gerald to the side, as he hissed viciously at him. “What do you mean with this? You have never said anything about the silver bracelet.”
Gerald looked at him innocently, but there was nothing about him that was innocent. “I don’t know about this. This is the condition that the alpha Rollin wants.”
They landed in the Blackwater pack’s territory, which was led by alpha Rollin and it was within his right to demand this from them.
“I didn’t tell you about it, because I don’t know about it too. I didn’t mean to deceive you or anything. That’s the last thing in my mind. We have gone through together a lot, I trust you.”
Gerald patted Killian’s shoulder, which made the latter wanted to recoil, but he held himself back.
“But, they don’t. They don’t know you. All they know is you come from the Aspen Kingdom. The kingdom that has been slaughtered us, of course, there is a problem with trust here.”
“You should have convinced them!” Killian hissed angrily. He was tired and annoyed, but now he had to be treated like a criminal. He wanted to strangle this old man to death, but then all of them would face something worse than just a silver bracelet.
“I have. I have tried to convince them, can’t you see how long I was talking with the? But, they didn’t budge. They follow the alpha’s order.”
“You are the royal beta, your words should be more important their alpha’s.”
Gerald shook his head. “Unfortunately, that’s not how things work here. The pack’s territory is still the domain of the alpha.” Gerald glanced at the anxious warriors behind Killian. “I promised you to bring you to the Barlukan Kingdom safely along with all of your warriors, and I have done it. I have fulfilled my promise to you, whether you will accept the condition or not, it’s up to you.”
Killian was so angry. He was a proud person, therefore, he took offense to be chained to silver bracelet, it was the same like putting away his pride.
However, what choice did he had?
“If you can’t accept this, you can still go back to your kingdom. The boat is still there, but Jasmine will stay.” Gerald’s eyes fell on Jasmine and then traced down to her stomach. “She is carrying my child.”
“You will not keep her,” Killian hissed. The word just left his mouth, he didn’t even think twice when he said that.

“I don’t mean disrespect, but you will not be able to take her either.” Gerald glanced at the warriors behind him.
If Killian insisted to take Jasmine away, there would be a bloodbath here. No matter what, Killian would lose. They would be killed easily.
The warriors with him had lost their hope. They only moved simply because an instinct to survive, but if they had to have a fight against those warriors from the Blackwater pack, they didn’t stand a chance.
They were tired, hungry, and was ridden with grief.
“I have done my best, the last result will be up to you,” Gerald said, he tried to placate Killian, as he softened his tone. “You need to think of those people with you. There is no point to fight it. They only ask you to put the silver bracelet because they want to ensure their own safety against the strangers from their enemy’s territory. You need to understand this. Once you have pledged your loyalty to our king, then you will get your freedom again.”
Killian didn’t need to contemplate the answer, because the decision was very obvious. He was going to accept this humiliation in order to keep their lives.
“Fine.” Killian gritted his teeth, he hated it.
“Good.” Gerald patted his shoulder. “Now, you will talk to your warrior and I will talk to mine. Make sure they are calm and not losing their temper. That’s the last thing we need.”
Rania felt a little bit depressed because she had nothing to do here. It had been a month, and she felt bored out of her mind.
Even though Ares would give her some news about what happened with the war, but it was not enough to curb her strong feeling. She missed Maximus so bad.
And now, the pregnancy was a little bit hard on her, as she had a morning sickness, but neither of the three warriors understood what happened with her.
“You look so pale, are you, okay my queen?” Ares asked one morning, as he accompanied Rania to feed the wild wolves.
This was the only activities that Rania was looking forward every morning.
After she returned the pup to the pack, three days later the pup came to the house again, but this time it came with a bigger wolf.
Rania would feed them, and after that, they would come very often. Sometime, some of them simply played around the house, and guarded it every night.
The warriors could feel their presence and even though they were grateful, they were still a little bit worried.
Because no matter what, they were still wild animal.

They became even more concern because Rania took the initiative to get close to them. They were afraid the wolves would snap and accidentally harm her.
However, thus far, none of that happened, and Ares started to lower his guard. At this point, these wolves looked more like guard dogs.
“Should I call Karin to come here and check your condition?” Ares asked, while Rania played with the three pups, while two adult wolves sat not too far from them.
Ares would glance every now and then to the adult wolves.
‘Can you do that?‘ Rania thought they were not allowed to contact anyone in the palace, since her location was
a secret.
“We can take her out of the palace secretly,” Ares said, but he was contemplating his answer. “I think it will be fine…”
Rania was excited to see Karin. ‘Yes, please.
The last time she met with Karin, they parted ways in a bad term. Rania kept thinking about that, because she felt so bad.
With that, Rania felt better for the rest of the day. Karin would be here in the morning.
“You look so happy today, my queen,” Cam said, he noticed that too. Rania had been feeling down in the last few days.
“Tomorrow Deryl will return to the palace to pick Karin up, you will cover his shift,” Ares said to Cam.
“Is the queen sick?”
Rania shook her head, and the wrote down her answer. [I only feel a little bit off. Moreover, I miss Karin too. It has been a while since I talk with her.]
“Oh…”
And the rest of the dinner went like usual. Cam would dominate the conversation, telling story about how he found gamma Eiten was amazing.
“I feel like I will turn into Eiten’s fans only by hearing you talking about him all the time.” Ares shuddered. “Stop that.”
Cam pursed his lips. He looked like an insolent child when he did that.
But, despite it, Rania learned that Cam was actually the best warrior in his year. He could be quite scary when he got serious.
The thing was; he rarely got serious. He looked like a curious child in Rania’s eyes.
Later when the night came, Rania couldn’t fall asleep, she kept tossing and turning in her bed, her stomach felt bloated, and she felt this discomfort in her throat.

Therefore, only when it was close to morning that she could close her eyes and get some sleep before Karm’s presence woke her up.
Rania felt this warm feeling from her hand, and when her mind was a little bit sobered, she realized someone was holding her hand.
She opened her eyes to find Karin was there, holding her hand, while infusing her healing ability to her. The healer looked worried.
“How are you feeling, Rania?”
Rania didn’t miss the concern in Karin’s voice and she missed this healer so bad. She immediately sat down and hugged her.
She wanted to tell her how sorry she was for overreacting the other day.
“Rania, tell me how are you feeling.” Karin pushed her away slightly so she could see her complexion. “I have been worried sick when you left and I don’t know where to find you, I need to check your condition regularly.”
Karin had checked on her, so she knew that Rania was still pregnant.
‘I am sorry,‘ Rania mouthed. ‘I am sorry for being angry with you?’
Karin sighed and hugged her. “I don’t take it to heart, but there is something important I want to tell you.”
