The True-Blood's Gift surged through me, a force of nature using my body as a conduit. It wasn't a gentle flow; it was a raging river of power that I had to direct.

I pushed the golden energy into the Elder's chest, feeling for the poison. It was a living, malevolent web of freezing shadow wrapped tight around his heart, squeezing the life from it.
