Chapter 10
With a loud thud, Cassius smashed Natalie’s phone onto the floor. His chilly gaze locked onto her as his eyes filled with murderous intent.
“Natalie Howe!” He stood up, charged over, and seized Natalie by the throat. “You were the one who said you were willing to be my mistress. You said you wouldn’t tell Sabrina and that you wouldn’t destroy my family.”
The tight grip around her neck caused Natalie immense pain, and tears sprang to her eyes. Nonetheless, she smiled. “Cassius, I want you. Why should I be your mistress? I want to be your wife.”
Cassius was shaking with anger when he heard that. He called Shaun over and ordered, “Look into all the social media apps that Natalie has ever used to chat with Sabrina. Also, I want to see all
surveillance footage with Natalie in it.”
Natalie instantly panicked. “Cassius, I never did anything, I swear! I really didn’t do anything!”
However, there was no denying the solid evidence that was recorded in the chat histories and surveillance footage.
That one time, Sabrina had only reciprocated because Natalie had slapped Sebastian when no one was around.
Whenever Natalie was alone with Sabrina, she would deliberately reveal her collarbone or the love marks on various other parts of her body. She wanted Sabrina to see, with her own eyes, the proof of Cassius‘ betrayal.
Besides that, it turned out that Natalie wasn’t suffering from kidney failure after all. She had simply wanted Sabrina’s kidney.
Yet, in order for Natalie to get a kidney transplant, Cassius had orchestrated Sabrina to get in a car accident, all so he could hide the fact that her kidney had been harvested.
Tears of regret slid down Cassius‘ face.
“Tell Dr. Xenor to remove Sabrina’s kidney from Natalie and abort the child in her womb.”
Shaun immediately seized Natalie, but she struggled vehemently.
“Cassius, you can’t do this to me! I’m pregnant with your baby. How could you just abort it like that? Besides, you promised my uncle that you would take care of me. You can’t hurt me!”
Cassius‘ expression turned as chilly as a winter breeze.
“I can’t do this? You’ve inflicted significant hurt on my wife and son. Since your family failed to give you a good upbringing, I’ll do it in their stead.”
As Natalie was dragged away, she screamed hysterically, “Cassius, you bastard! You were the one who betrayed Sabrina. What’s it got to do with me? You’ve always wanted a woman like me. My appearance in your life simply stirred up those latent desires! You’re the one who clearly had a change of heart long ago!”
Cassius retorted indifferently, “No. The woman I love has always been Rina. I was just trying to find shadows of her in you. Natalie, I’ve never loved you.”
“No. I refuse to believe that. Cassius, you treat me so well and give me everything. You’ve never put that much effort into caring for Sabrina.”
“That’s because I’ve always hoped that Rina would come asking me for what she wants. I’ve always satisfied your materialistic desires because I wanted her to give me just the slightest bit more attention, but you’re the only one who likes such thing.‘
Cassius‘ harsh words were practically trampling all over Natalie’s dignity.
With that, Natalie was forcefully brought to the operating room.
