I Owe the Tyrant Four Little Heirs novel Chapter 175

But now, he was in her home. And Jareth was supposed to dislike children and women. Why was Niamh the exception? Why was he holding her children? What was going on?

Rhoslyn had come today to confront Cassian and demand to know who his real daughter was. But with Mr. Bragg here, she decided it was better to come back another time.

As she was leaving, she saw Cassian walking with a well-dressed woman, laughing and talking. He was carrying several bags, and when he stopped to rest, the woman gently wiped the sweat from his brow, her concern obvious.

Rhoslyn’s heart burned with anger. So this was why her father had suddenly asked for a divorce. He had another woman. For the past few days, he hadn't been home. No one made her breakfast anymore, and she had to cook, clean, and do laundry herself. And here he was, taking care of Niamh and her family.

“Niamh,” she thought venomously, “Cassian is my father! You're just an abandoned orphan. What right do you have to take him from me?!”

...

Inside the apartment, Niamh turned to Jareth. "Mr. Bragg, thank you for what you did back there."

Her words pierced Jareth’s heart like a needle. He desperately wanted to tell her that he was their father. But he knew he had to be careful. He had no idea how Niamh would react to the truth.

He looked at Niamh again. She quickly spoke up, "Mr. Bragg, Aurelia is just a child. Please don't take her seriously."

"But what if," Jareth said, his voice low and intense, "what if I really were their father?"
