I Owe the Tyrant Four Little Heirs novel Chapter 68

“Got it,” Niamh quickly replied.

“Good luck, then.”

“Rhea, what time is our flight tomorrow?”

“Eight in the morning.”

“Okay.”

An eight o’clock flight meant she’d have to leave by six. She quickly sent a message to her father: [Dad, are you free to talk?]

Cassian was just about to enter his apartment complex when he saw the message and immediately called her.

“Dad, I have to go on a business trip for three days. Could you help look after the kids? I know Lyric is here, but she’s not family. I just don’t feel completely at ease.”

“Niamh, don’t you worry about a thing,” Cassian said. “You go on your trip. I’ll take care of them. No problem at all.”

“What will you tell Ffion?” Niamh asked worriedly.

“What is that supposed to mean?” Cassian said, his tone hurt. “I’m your father. Do I need her permission to help my own daughter with my grandchildren? Do you really think I have no backbone at all?”

“Dad, you know I didn’t mean it like that,” Niamh apologized.

“What time do you leave tomorrow?”

“Six in the morning.”

“Alright, I’ll come over early to make breakfast for the kids. You just focus on getting ready.”

“Thank you, Dad.”

“Don’t be silly. I’m your father. You don’t need to thank me.”

“I love you, Dad.”

“I love you too, sweetheart.”
