I Owe the Tyrant Four Little Heirs novel Chapter 70

“Don’t you need to check in?” Jareth’s voice was low and menacing.

“And that suitcase is too big. You’ll have to check it. Boarding starts in less than fifteen minutes. You’d better hurry up.”

Seeing the panic on her face, he wondered if she’d ever been on a plane before. Why had he brought this woman with him? If he had brought Rhea, none of this would be happening.

And what was she wearing? A pink sweatsuit and sneakers? Was she planning on climbing a mountain?

He preferred women in dresses. If she had worn a white dress with a blue floral pattern and let her hair down, she would have looked beautiful.

But this hairstyle… a tiny bun on the back of her head? It was so dated. If it weren’t for her naturally pretty features, she would have looked like a complete country bumpkin.

Taking someone like that to the biggest fashion show in Veridia Country was just asking to be embarrassed.

By the time Niamh finished checking in, everyone else was already boarding. When she finally reached the gate, Jareth’s face was like a block of ice. He looked at her as if he wanted to kill her.

“Ignore it, just ignore it,” Niamh told herself. She quickly went over and started pushing his wheelchair. She wondered why he was still using the wheelchair.

There was no one here he knew. Couldn’t he just walk?
