Karma Doesn’t Sleep: The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 450

Mr. Baker stared her down, his sharp old eyes carrying a chill that cut straight through the room. “You’ve got a point. So let me give you exactly what you want.”

Bianca was ready to watch someone else’s downfall. But before she could even smirk, two guards marched over, grabbed her by the arms, and started dragging her out.

“Mom!” Kristen jumped up, panic cracking her usual calm. “Grandpa Baker, what are you doing?”

Bianca thrashed wildly, shouting about how she was innocent. “Mr. Baker, why are you throwing me out? Amelia’s the one who tried to trick you with a fake—ah!” One of the guards slapped her hard across the mouth, cutting her off. Blood welled up instantly.

Everyone in the room froze. Clive, who’d just stood up to try to stop things, couldn’t move. He just stared in shock.

Mr. Baker’s voice was cold and clear. “Everyone here is a guest, and the Baker family treats guests with respect. But if anyone insults Ms. Sadinton again, I won’t be so forgiving.”

The room went silent. Outside, Bianca’s screams rang out, loud enough for everyone to hear.

There was no hiding it now. Mr. Baker was showing obvious favoritism. Even Felix, his own grandson, had never been protected like this.

Kristen just sat there, completely stunned. None of this made sense.

How could this be happening? The statue was a fake—everyone knew it. But instead of getting angry, Mr. Baker was actually standing up for Amelia. He’d even kicked Kristen’s mom out.

“Grandpa Baker…” Kristen tried to get up again, but Hank pressed her back down.

He glared at Amelia, his eyes burning with rage he was barely holding back.
