Karma Doesn’t Sleep The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 573

Ryan scrolled through his messages. The only chat pinned to the top was Amelia’s.

He had her saved as “Princess.”

He clicked into the conversation without really thinking, only to spot the little “typing…” indicator pop up.

He waited. A few seconds passed. The typing dot vanished.

Ryan wasn’t the type to just brush it off.

A moment later, the “typing…” bubble appeared again.

Princess: Are you awake? Did you sleep well last night? How are you feeling today?

Ryan looked at the flood of questions and couldn’t help but smile to himself.

Ryan: Yeah. I’m okay. Better than yesterday.

He made sure to answer every one of her questions.

Meanwhile, Amelia stared at the screen, biting her lip in thought.

Ryan really had everything he needed. George treated him like he was the world’s last hope, making sure he had the best doctors and nutritionists anyone could find. Honestly, there wasn’t much left that she could do for him.

All she could do was keep searching for something—anything—that might help him recover faster.

Just as she got lost in her thoughts, another message from Ryan flashed on her phone.

Ryan: Can you talk?

She had barely typed out “Sure” when her phone started ringing.

She picked up, suddenly feeling a little nervous for no good reason.

“Hey…”

Ryan’s voice was calm, a little rough around the edges. For some reason, it always made her feel at ease.

“I won’t be able to come see you these next couple days. If something comes up, call Francisco, okay?”

Amelia replied, “I’m fine, really. There’s nothing I need from Francisco. But you, you have to take care of yourself. For the next week at least, promise me you won’t let George take any more of your blood.”

Her tone grew serious at the end. She really was worried about him.

She was desperate to find a way to help Ryan recover, but until then, the last thing she wanted was for his body to get any weaker.

Ryan gave a quiet laugh. “Alright. I promise.”

“If that’s all, I’ll—”

“Amelia.” Ryan suddenly called her by name, his voice extra serious.

“Can’t die now,” he muttered. He reached out, fingers tracing the lines of Amelia’s face on the paper. His eyes softened and a quiet smile played on his lips. “I have to keep going. For a long, long time…”

Footsteps sounded behind him.

Ryan didn’t bother turning around.

Tony stood in the doorway, looking older than ever, clearly shaken by what he saw.

So many drawings—proof of just how much Ryan had missed her all these years. And the price he’d paid to bring Amelia back… Even as his grandfather, Tony felt both proud and deeply unsettled.

Tony’s voice was heavy. “Does Amelia know what you sacrificed to wake her up?”

“She doesn’t need to know. And I’d appreciate it if you kept it that way, Mr. Sadinton.”

Tony watched the young man in front of him, so obsessed he was almost unrecognizable, and let out a long, tired sigh.

At six sharp, Felix showed up at the hospital room door holding Jinx’s hand.

Donna had already gone home, so it was just Amelia and Timmy in the room.

“Mrs. Sadinton!” Jinx bounced over with a bouquet—carnations and calla lilies—both hands holding them out. “Mrs. Sadinton, I hope you’re always healthy and safe.”
