Karma Doesn’t Sleep The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 633

“You really can’t live without a man, can you, Kristen? First me, now Cameron.” Clive’s voice was sharp and mocking, cutting right through the room. Kristen flinched and instinctively pushed Cameron away.

She spun around, panic in her eyes. “Clive…”

Cameron paused, confusion flickering across his face.

“Clive, what are you doing here?” Kristen stammered, eyes darting between the two men. “I—”

“You’re leaving Alson Creek today,” Clive interrupted, grabbing her arm and yanking her without warning toward the door. Kristen stumbled, almost losing her balance. Cameron lunged forward, blocking Clive’s way.

“Clive, I know you’re upset. But aside from what happened with the blood transfusion, Kristen’s always been good to you. She cared for you, for Penny and Timmy, all these years!”

Clive let out a harsh laugh.

He looked at Cameron, and in that moment, he finally understood the look Amelia used to give him—half pity, half disbelief.

“Good to me?” Clive’s voice dripped with sarcasm. Suddenly, he changed direction, dragging Kristen back into the living room and shoving her onto the sofa.

“Kristen!” Cameron protested, his brow furrowed. “Clive, don’t do this. Kristen gave up so much for you. She wanted to marry you, take care of Timmy and Penny. She even had her tubes tied so she wouldn’t have kids of her own—she did it for your family…”

“Tied her tubes?” Clive’s smile twisted cruelly. “Is that what she told you?”

Cameron looked puzzled. “What do you mean?”

Clive fixed Kristen with a cold stare. “Want to tell him the truth, Kristen? Or should I? Why were you really at the hospital that day? The day you pretended to be Amelia and claimed you saved my life?”

Kristen, who’d been quietly sobbing a second ago, froze. Panic washed over her face.

That memory—one she’d tried so hard to forget—came rushing back.

He staggered back, staring at her in disbelief.

“Kristen… is it true?” His voice barely rose above a whisper.

“No! Of course not!” Kristen shook her head, desperate. “Clive, you must have it wrong. You know what kind of person I am!”

“Oh, I know exactly who you are now,” Clive shot back, gripping her face so hard she winced. “You’re a lying, poisonous snake. Penny’s five years old, and you drugged her, manipulated her because you wanted to kill Amelia. If your mom hadn’t taken the blame, you’d be in prison right now.”

All of it was too much for Cameron. He stumbled back, legs giving out, and collapsed onto the sofa, looking shattered.

Clive glanced at him—a flash of recognition, like seeing his old self.

Then he turned back to Kristen, his voice cold and final. “Since the law can’t touch you, I will.”
