Karma Doesn’t Sleep The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 665

Amelia tossed the medicine onto the table like it weighed nothing.

Her gaze swept over the Packman father and son, a cold smirk tugging at her lips. In her mind, she couldn’t stop replaying that phone call from Patrick at dawn.

“Miss Amelia, there’s something you should know, but please don’t panic. Lately, there have been groups of really suspicious people lurking around our neighborhood. But before I could even check them out, they all disappeared. One group after another! Should I call the police?”

“No need, don’t worry about it. Just keep Donna and Timmy safe, like always.”

The only people keeping tabs on her were from the Packman family. And the only one who could make those people vanish without a trace was Ryan.

“I gave George his medicine, and he promised not to lay a finger on Ryan,” Amelia said, completely unfazed. “That’s the deal we made. Beyond that, I don’t know anything, and I don’t care to. The medicine’s here now, so I’m leaving.”

She turned to go, but George’s voice cut through the air behind her, sharp and icy.

“My mother—the matriarch of the Packman family—disappeared from her own estate. Tell me, Amelia, who else but Ryan could’ve done this?”

Amelia didn’t even bother to look back. “Someone’s missing? Then call the police. Why are you blaming Ryan with zero proof? What’s next—every time someone in your family gets a cold, you’ll say Ryan poisoned them?”

When she got to the door, she realized it was locked from the outside.

Her eyebrows knit together. She turned around. “Open the door. Or I’ll call the cops right now.”

She reached for her phone, but her face fell.

No signal. At all.

“But he’s too unpredictable. When he loses control, everything inside him goes haywire. I’ve spent years trying to figure out how to control him. Turns out, he’s a lot smarter than I ever thought. And then you showed up. I finally realized—the only thing that can hold Ryan back is a woman.”

“Work with me, Amelia.” George reached out his hand to her. “Help me control him. I’ll give you whatever you want—your kids, your research, your future. And if Ryan ever goes out of control, the Packman family will protect you. We’ll take care of him, no loose ends.”

Amelia looked George straight in the eyes and suddenly let out a dry, sarcastic laugh.

“So I was right all along.” Her gaze was cutting, ice-cold. “All those years you experimented on Ryan, mixing up new drugs from his blood—you never cared about your legs. What you really wanted was to fix what made you less than a man.”

George’s face twisted in rage, veins bulging at his temples.

“Shut up!”
