Swapping a Broken Heart for a New Start novel Chapter 1101

Camila’s memory was a mess. She couldn’t place faces or names, so when she looked at the woman across the room, nothing clicked. She leaned closer to Dennis and whispered, “Do you know who that is?”

Dennis’s eyes narrowed, a cold edge to his stare.

Aaron rubbed his chin, staring at the woman leading the group. “She does look kinda familiar, but I can’t say for sure. Let’s just watch for now.”

Camila nodded and kept her eyes forward.

Meanwhile, Inman, RedFox’s informant, stepped up to greet the newcomers. “You’re the client, Ms. S, right?”

“That’s me. Where is she?” Ms. S’s voice was low, almost impossible to recognize.

Inman just gestured toward the cage, where a barely conscious Camila was huddled. “She’s right there.” Then, glancing at the crowd behind Ms. S, he raised his eyebrows. “Ms. S, mind telling me why you brought all these people with you? That wasn’t what we talked about.”

Ms. S gave a cold little laugh, her eyes shining with something cruel. “Didn’t you ask if I needed to let off steam? That’s what they’re here for.”

Inman looked surprised, pausing before he said, “And what exactly do you want them to do?”

Ms. S didn’t answer. She just glared at the woman in the cage, her eyes swirling with hate and old memories that made her jaw clench. Then, her lips twisted into a wicked smile. “Camila Davis, looks like it’s finally your turn.”

She turned to Inman, impatience sharp in her voice. “Open the cage. I brought her a little treat. Tonight, these men are going to make sure she gets what she deserves.”

The last few words came out between clenched teeth, thick with satisfaction.

As Inman stepped forward, something landed on the ground with a thump. He glanced down and saw a bag, its contents spilling everywhere—skimpy lingerie, a whip, candles, and other things that made even him look away.

He stared in shock. “What did she ever do to you? This is a lot...”

Sandra Taylor shot him a glare that could freeze blood. “Not your concern. You’re getting paid, so stop asking questions and just open the cage.”
