Chapter 10
Alfreds POV
After we got into the car, she finally relaxed. She made herself comfortable. She was
leaning against me with pillows behind her back for padding. I rested my arm on the seat’s headrest, where her bottom was sitting. When we got underway, she was just
staring out the window. She eventually fell asleep. I stared at her as we were driving. The way the sun shone on her pale skin and dirty blonde hair made her look like a goddess.
She was so beautiful.

It caused me to get angry again just thinking of the abuse she has been through. I gently brushed away a stray hair. She moved her head towards my hand. I helped it there and stroked her cheek. Whenever I touched her bare skin, I enjoyed the sparks that it sent through my body. The shirt that I had bought her was cut low enough that I could see the tops of her breasts. I could tell she was sleeping peacefully. The rise and fall of her chest
told me she was.
I had to adjust myself because looking at her breasts was starting to make my cock get hard. I wanted to put my hand in her shirt so badly. I wanted to feel how soft her skin
was. After standing in the bathroom with her today while she got dressed, then watching
her sleep and staring at her breasts, it was getting my hormones going. I did not see her
very secret place because she had underwear on. There were droplets of blood on them. I
had bought her a pair of underwear, but she did not change them while I was in the
bathroom with her.
She needed a shower when we got back to the house. I will see that when we get back. When we got back, I needed a moment to collect myself. We reached our pack’s territory. I gently moved her so that I could get out of the car. I held her head in place so it would not move. I then picked her up and carried her into the house. When she realized that she was being taken, she was half awake and not coherent. She started to kick and squirm, trying to get out of my arms. When she heard my voice, she settled down. When we got into the house, I laid her on the couch.
The bedroom was not done yet. I called the house servants to get it ready for us. I wanted
them to make it look more like a couple’s room than a bachelor’s room. I then went into the kitchen to get us some drinks. I hear Stacey in the living room with her. When I walked into the living room, Stacey ran up to me to hug me. The look Vanessa had on her face told me she was sad. I then introduced them and explained to Stacey that she was
mute.

I also told Vanessa that Stacey was my sister. We were getting comfortable when all the
commanders of my warriors started to come into the house. I greeted them. But Vanessa
jumped up and ran into the guest room. She locked the door behind her. I immediately
realized my mistake. She was scared because of all the men coming in, and she must have thought I would make her do things for them.
I cleared my throat.
“1
Gentlemen, we will meet later after I have gotten myself and your Luna comfortable.”
They all agreed and left. I went over to the door and unlocked it. I noticed that the closet door was shut. I shut the bedroom door and turned on the light. I knew she was hiding in the closet. I went and sat down in front of the closet door and waited for her. After a while, I got tired of sitting and lay on the floor.
”
Little one, you can come out now.”
She did not move for a while. Finally, I could hear her moving. She slowly crawled out of the closet.
11
Hey, beautiful, let’s go to our room.”
She looked at me weirdly. I handed her the dry–erase board, and she wrote.
“An actual room in the house.”
“Yes”
What did she mean by an actual room in the house? Where did she sleep before? I decided not to ask too many questions. Instead, I got up off the floor and held out my hand to her. She took it, and I helped her get to her feet. I then picked her up. The whole time, staring into her eyes. I carried her out of the guest room and down the hall to our room. I had no idea how it would work with the sleeping arrangements, but I will figure it out. Once we got into our room. I sat her down. She looked around, and she looked like she liked what she saw.
I could not wait to hear her beautiful voice. I wonder how to break her curse. I knew how to break mine; it would be broken once I mated with her in my human and wolf forms. I
have six months before the curse becomes permanent. I need her to warm up to me faster than she is. She is scared of everything. I bet she is scared of her own shadow. I don’t know if she is or not. I will find that out eventually. But right now is not the time. Later on, I will explore where she slept the most.
She walked over to the bed and tried to sit down on it. She could not reach it. I’ll have to have it lowered or have stairs made for her. She is so little compared to me. A little one fits her. With proper nutrition, she will get stronger and healthier. I needed a shower. I’m sore from fighting and being tense while watching her sleep. A few times at the hospital, she started to have nightmares, which was very concerning to me.
I bet she hasn’t had a good night’s sleep in a while. She might sleep well tonight after a hot shower and some pain medicine. I went into the bathroom and turned on the shower. When I came out of the bathroom, she had managed to get up to bed. She was sitting on the bed. Her size compared to my bed made her look like a child. She was tiny compared to it.
11
Little one, let’s go take a shower.”
The look of horror on her face told me that she was not ready for that. I then thought of something different.
“I’ll shower, then I will give you a bath.”
She still had the look of horror on her face. But she did not try to run from the room. I had no intentions of trying to do anything sexual to her. She needed a bath. She smelled of vanilla, peaches, and alcohol. The alcohol smell was because of the hospital and all the wound treatments. I had the doctor give me some things to clean her wounds and change her bandages. I asked the doctor about a bath, and he said she could if she was careful.
