Chapter 90
Alfreds POV
(81)
After sitting for a while with an ice pack on her ankle, she felt fine. I felt like a complete jerk for yelling at her. But she was so pig–headed and stubborn. Then she said something I was not expecting. She said she wanted to train. We are on our honeymoon. I agreed to train her. I told her to get changed. Her ankle had healed, and her werewolf abilities were getting stronger. She changed, and I took off my shirt. While she was changing, I went to the office I had in the cabin and got out the present. I put it in the pantry. I’m going to surprise her with it. It was the necklace that all Alphas give to their mates. It’s the Luna
Necklace.

When she was ready, we went to the backyard. I had set up a miniature exercise course in the backyard. I did that when I first moved into the cabin. When I came up here alone, I would exercise, hunt, and just be alone here. But now her scent was going to be all over this place. That was fine with me. I showed her what we needed to do by guiding her through the obstacle course. We ran for a bit and then completed the obstacle course. She struggled through it. She lacked strength in her legs. She needed to start building muscles. This was a great way to find her weaknesses that we needed to work on. I could tell by the time we were done that a lot of work needed to be done.
She sat down on the bench, and I knew she was exhausted. She needed to relax the muscles she used and get rest. I picked her up and carried her to the hot tub. I helped her take off her clothes, and then I took off mine. We went into the hot tub. I wanted to massage her shoulders, but she was sitting across my lap. I then moved her around so that her back was to me. I was massaging her shoulders when she began to think about things. I could read her thoughts, and they were everywhere. I finally told her to quit thinking and enjoy the massage. She finally relaxed, and after she relaxed, she fell asleep. I knew that was going to happen. I carefully scooted out from under her and held her with one arm while I got a towel.
I let go of her for a moment to position the towel. I then woke her up. For just a second, she stood up, and then I wrapped a towel around her. She fell asleep again when I picked her up. I then walked into the house and laid her down on the bed. The towel fell open. Her breasts were exposed. As much as I wanted to wake her up and make love to her, I was not going to. I covered her up with the blanket and then lay down next to her for a few minutes. She was starting to have a nightmare. I pulled her close to me and whispered in her ear,

You are safe, little one.”

That was all it took to calm her. Holding her, she could breathe in my scent. That also helped comfort her. After I was sure she was asleep, I went into the kitchen to make dinner. I was going to make hamburgers tonight. I got the meat out and seasoned it. I was in the middle of cooking them when she walked into the kitchen. It was late in the evening, but that’s okay. I asked her to chop up some vegetables to accompany our dinner. I watched her. She was really skilled at it. I then asked her to go get the chips out of the pantry. While her back was turned, I turned around and watched her open it. It felt like forever before she turned around. When she turned around, the look on her face was
priceless.
“Did you think that you would not have one?”
I then walked up to her and got on one knee. I took the box from her hands and removed the necklace.
“Will you be my Luna forever?’
“Oh my gosh, yes, I will.”
I knew she would say yes. But I was still holding my breath. I did not know what I was
eath thinking. The silly emotions of fear. I thought she might say no. We had the mating ceremony. We needed to have a wedding and a Luna ceremony. But that can wait for now. I will mention it to her when we get home. Right now is the perfect time to enjoy each other’s company and not rush things. She was my mate, and I knew we would have all the different ceremonies later. There was time for that. She had tears running down her cheeks. But they were happy tears. I got up and helped her put the necklace on. After struggling with it, it was finally around her neck. I walked around in front of her. I then adjusted the necklace so it sat right.
She looked so beautiful. She was wearing a nightgown and a necklace. Her hair was still tied up in a ponytail. Although it was messy, she still looked beautiful. The hamburgers were done. She got everything on the table, and I grabbed the chips out of the pantry. We then sat down and ate dinner. I could not stop/staring at her. She was eating, but she was sexy. I knew she had no underwear on. I wanted to lay her on the couch and have my way with her. We finished dinner, and I then took her into the living room. I had lit a fire. I sat down first and then pulled her into my lap. I started rubbing her thigh and kissing her. I ran my hand up her thigh to her pussy. I began to rub her clit. She was breathing heavily.

She started to rock her hips. Her doing that was making my cock harder than it already was. I continued to rub her clit. While I was rubbing her, I stuck one finger into her pussy. She was wet. She climaxed. She held my hand in place while she did. She then got on her knees. She was going to give me a blow job. She started to pull my pants down when there was a knock on the door.
Son of a bitch.”
Right when we were getting it on, we got interrupted. Whoever is on the other side of that door had better have a good reason to be interrupting my honeymoon. I took a couple of deep breaths and zipped up my pants. She giggled, and then I gave her a sideways look. I finally got my boner to go down and then walked to the door. I looked through the peephole. It was Chris. What did he want? I opened the door.
“What’s up, Chris?”
I half growled and half asked. He knew I was annoyed.
Boss, there are problems.
