After finding out for sure, she was pregnant and not just a false positive. I was shocked. I thought that I had been careful. I have worn a condom on several occasions. I was beyond happy that she had decided to keep the pup. I do not condone abortion, but werewolves have them as well as humans. I have no time for women who do have abortions, human or not. I believe Veronica had an abortion. But Vanessa would never do that. She wanted to have the baby even if he killed her. I think that the moon goddess will save her, especially since she is blessed with her powers. I crawled up in bed with her and held her. At that moment, it felt like the right thing to do. She fainted when she looked at the test. I know that her life must be quite a shock to her.

She has never been treated the way I treat her. The doctor came a few minutes later and handed me two bottles of pills. The first one was prenatal vitamins, and the other one was a bottle of additional supplements. He instructed that she take them twice a day and eat frequently. I will make sure that happens. I was going to do everything in my power to ensure the pup and Vanessa lived. We then went back to the house. We have not been back to the house for a few days. Vanessa was sleeping when we arrived. I was surprised that it had been cleaned and stocked with groceries.

stomach. I carried her into the bedroom and laid her down on the bed. I then went to see

what I could make for dinner. I wanted something high in protein for Vanessa and the pup. She has to take these vitamins.

I found a couple of steaks in the fridge, along with some potatoes and corn. I cooked it on the grill. It was a couple of hours later that she finally woke up. She was still wearing the same clothes. I had put her food in the microwave for her when she woke up. I also had a couple more warriors assigned to watch over the house. I wanted every side of the house protected. There was no way anyone was going to hurt her. I got her food out of the microwave after heating it, and she started eating. I gave her a vitamin, and she made a face that showed her displeasure at the way it tasted. I knew they would not taste good because of the way they smelled when I opened the container.

I let her eat, and then I picked her up and carried her into the bathroom. I ran a lukewarm bath and helped her undress. I then helped her get into the bath. I gently bathed her, then helped her out of the tub. I went and got her one of her warm pajamas. I wanted her to be warm tonight. She needed to be comfortable. She was in a daze of sorts. I think she is still in shock to learn that she is pregnant again so soon. But Alphas and Lunas tend to have more babies than most. Tomorrow we’re going for another ultrasound. They just did a quick one earlier in the hospital. It was to ensure she was not experiencing any complications.

I left her alone in the bathtub while I turned down the bedsheets. As I was walking into the bathroom again, she was sitting in the bathtub with her knees to her chest and her head down, and she was crying.

“What’s wrong, little one?”

“I’m scared.”

She had every right to be afraid. She had already miscarried one baby. Even though we did not know she was pregnant at the time. Her body was going to undergo significant changes over the next several months. She wouldn’t be able to rely on her wolf, Sasha. Which is sad, I’m going to miss seeing her beautiful wolf. But it is only temporary. Werewolves don’t entirely shift while they are pregnant to protect the baby. Her shifting, which we didn’t know about until it was too late, thankfully did not harm the baby. I took my clothes off and climbed into the tub behind her. I held her while she cried.

The water was starting to get cold.

“Let’s get out and get some rest.”

She nodded her head in agreement. We got out, dried off, and got dressed. She lay down on the bed and fell asleep in a matter of seconds. I sat on the edge of the bed, thinking about how to find Tyler and end the curse he had put on every generation of males in my family. We had no idea if we were having a boy or a girl. But if it were a boy, it would be cursed. I was angry that I had not been more careful about getting her pregnant. I should have known better. She is my mate and will be my wife in a short time. So, using protection was not on my mind in the heat of the moment. Now I’m sitting here regretting my decision. I am unsure whether her curse is generational or not.

I will find out more information about her curse from Doctor Moser. He would know the extent of her curse. Whether it affects generations or if it was just her sisters and her. Why did the moon goddess allow this to happen to me and her? She has a plan for everything. I have to trust her. I know she will help find Tyler. I know he’s hiding in the witches‘ forest. I have not heard from my scouts. So, in the witches‘ forest, I have no idea where he’s hiding. We will have to try to keep her pregnancy quiet. I don’t want him to find out about it.
