Emily felt a little awkward about what Mallory had pulled.
"What are you doing, Mal?" she asked.
Feeling frustrated, Mallory poked her head and said, "What am I doing? Gabriel has brought his mistress home, so why should you stay faithful to him? I'll show you today that there are plenty of fish in the sea, so don't waste your life on just one of them."
One of them was dressed in a white shirt, and he was both stunned and filled with admiration as his gaze landed on Emily.
He walked up to her and said gently, "I can't believe there's a man who doesn't know how to cherish you when you're so beautiful. He must have been blind. He doesn't deserve you."
He gave her a mesmerizing smile and asked, "How about you give me a shot?"
As soon as he said that, an icy voice brimming with anger rang out in the distance. "I'd like to see who has the guts to try!"
The smile on the faces of the two men Mallory brought stiffened. They subconsciously took a step back as well.
A tall figure walked out from the dark, talking one step at a time.
It was Gabriel.
He locked his gaze on Emily, ignoring everyone else. "So you moved out just to find yourself another man?" he asked.
Emily wasn't going to find herself a man, but she was infuriated as soon as she heard that.
"You brought your mistress back to the villa. So what's wrong if I'm out here looking for a man?"
She looked right into his infuriated gaze and asked slowly, "Could it be that…you're feeling jealous?"
The silence that followed was deafening.
Gabriel tensed his jaw and snapped, "Come home with me!"
He grabbed her wrist so tightly that she felt as though her bones were almost crushed.
Feeling pained, Emily struggled with all her might, shouting, "Let go of me!"
She shook off his grip and took a step back, looking alarmed.
"Why are you here looking for me? You should go home and take care of your sick little Amelia," she said.
"Emily, don't test my limits."
Gabriel's expression darkened. His patience had been exhausted.
Emily locked horns with him without any sense of fear.
"I'm going to challenge it. What are you going to do about it? Gabriel, if you can't stand it, let's get a divorce tomorrow," she said.
