"I have it!" Ashley exclaimed as she handed a small bottle to Emily.

Emily grabbed one of the pills and carefully placed it under Jenna's tongue. She then stacked her hands on top of each other and pressed them against Jenna's chest.

It didn't take long for sweat to bead on her forehead and roll down her cheeks as she administered CPR on Jenna.

Everyone in the room was holding their breath, and as the seconds ticked by, Damien felt like his heart was going to leap out of his chest.

He looked at Emily again and thought about how he had almost forced himself on her earlier. That bitch, Amelia, had told him that Emily was nothing but a pretty face. She was just the wife Gabriel had tossed aside because he had grown sick and tired of toying with her.

Now, as Damien looked at Emily kneeling on the ground and doing her best to save Jenna's life, he couldn't help but wonder if she was the same person that Amelia had insulted.

How could Amelia have called her useless? She had to be blind to be unable to recognize Emily's talents. In fact, Amelia had nearly caused him to cut his own mother's life short.

Soon, weak coughing echoed around the room, and Jenna's eyelids twitched as color began to miraculously return to her face.

Emily stopped what she was doing and pressed her fingers against Jenna's pulse again—it had returned to normal.

She breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed onto the floor as if all the strength had drained from her body.

Meanwhile, the thunderous sound of footsteps resounded from beyond the door.

"The ambulance and the doctors have arrived!"

Several emergency doctors dressed in white coats rushed into the room. They even had a stretcher with them.

Using the floor as support, Emily pushed herself back up to her feet and explained, "The patient had a heart attack. I've already used CPR on her, and I've also placed nitroglycerin under her tongue. Her condition is stable for the time being, but you should still operate on her as soon as possible."

Surprise flickered in the eyes of the doctor who was leading the group.

Soon, Jenna was swiftly lifted onto the stretcher.
