Samuel pressed, 'And in what capacity are you asking?'
Dylan was surprised by Samuel's coyness. He'd always known him to be a level-headed person. How had he become so muddled when it came to Raina?
Dylan smirked. 'Samuel, I just wanted to remind you that she's a married woman.'
Samuel replied, 'Of course I know she's a married woman.'
As if he needed Dylan to tell him that.
'If you know that, then why are you...?' Dylan frowned, trailing off.
Samuel feigned ignorance. 'Why am I what?'
A look of disdain crossed Dylan's face. He had originally thought Samuel was Raina's lover, but now it seemed he wasn't. Samuel was probably just another one of her admirers on the side.
'Nothing. If you insist on being delusional and pursuing my secretary, I won't say anything more.'
Samuel understood the implication in Dylan's words and frowned. 'Dylan, what kind of filth is going through your mind?'
It seemed Becky really had been suffering under this man. Was this how this arrogant, self-important jerk always saw her?
Dylan frowned back. 'My mind is filthy? I'm not the one whose actions are questionable.'
'You're unbelievable!'
Samuel cursed in frustration, then demanded, 'Dylan, let me ask you, do you have any feelings for my Becky?'
Dylan was taken aback, wondering why Samuel would suddenly ask such a question. His feelings for Rebecca... of course, there were none.
Did it really take that long to answer? He didn't need to say anything; Samuel already had his answer.
