The Contract Said No Strings Attached (Charlotte) novel Chapter 547

Just then, the butler approached them respectfully. "Young Master, the Old Master is asking for you."

Dylan frowned. "Is something wrong?"

The butler shook his head. "I don't know. You'll find out when you go see him."

Dylan looked at Rebecca. "Are you coming with me?"

Rebecca's eyes went wide. "Your grandfather wants to see you. Why would I go?"

She was reluctant to see the Austin family elders, the memory of their last disastrous meeting flashing in her mind. "You can take the gifts to your grandfather. I'll just wait here for you."

Dylan knew she didn't want to go. If she did, her cover would be blown.

He sneered inwardly. "Fine. Wait here for me, or feel free to walk around."

Rebecca nodded, watching him leave with a sigh of relief.

She had been to the Austin estate before, but the experience had been so unpleasant that she still couldn't forget it.

The last time she was here, she had gotten into a huge argument with the old man and Mrs. Austin.

The Austins didn't like her, and she had no desire to see them, especially Mrs. Austin.

The mere thought of running into her was enough to make Rebecca's mood sour.

Rebecca decided to find a quiet spot to wait for a while before finding an excuse to leave.

As she walked, she found herself in a garden.

And that's when she ran into Emma.
