The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 143

Grandma Chelsea took another long sip of her milkshake, letting out a happy sigh. “This is just too good.”

She glanced at the good-looking young masseur in front of her. “How old are you?”

“I’m eighteen,” he answered.

She grinned. “No wonder men in their eighties go for eighteen-year-olds. Turns out eighty-year-old grandmas like them too.”

That set everyone off. Ella and Lilly burst out laughing, their voices echoing around the cozy room.

Aiden had been about to go in and give Ella a heads up, but after hearing what was going on, he spun around and backed out. Some things, you just had to let play out. Mrs. Harmon could handle herself.

Meanwhile, David stood outside the door, a vein pulsing in his forehead. If someone had told him before that his grandma would be out, sipping milkshake and getting a foot massage, he wouldn’t have believed it.

A wave of irritation and disbelief surged through him. His eyes narrowed, already fixed on the person who had started all this. Ella.

Was she trying to turn the world upside down?

He used to think things between them were over. He was ready to start fresh with Jessa. But somehow, Ella always found a way to worm herself back into his life and throw everything into chaos.

Inside, Ella was blissfully unaware. The handsome masseur had her small feet in his hands, working magic, and she looked completely content. Her toes curled and wiggled, playful and cute, like she didn’t have a care in the world.

David almost laughed out of frustration. He remembered those same feet in her dorm. When he’d grabbed her foot, she’d snatched it back in a panic and hidden it under her skirt.

Some double standard it was.

Suddenly, Lilly spotted David standing in the doorway. She shot upright, her voice shaking. “M… Mr. Harmon?”

Grandma Chelsea saw him too. Her hand stopped halfway to her mouth, milkshake forgotten. “David?”
