Her hands started to wander, sliding over his toned waist, her touch growing bolder by the second.

David stiffened right away. “Ella, where are your hands going?” His voice was sharp, trying to keep some distance.

Ella’s eyes were dreamy, a little unfocused, her innocence blending with something softer. “I found them. Six-pack abs.”

She looked up at him, her chin tipped back, taking in his ridiculously handsome face. “Your face is so good-looking too.”

David reacted fast, pressing her against the cold wall. He swallowed, his voice deep and rough as he warned, “Behave.”

Ella just grinned. “Wow. You’re so strong. I like it.”

He grabbed the showerhead and turned the spray on her flushed face, hoping to bring her back to her senses.

She gasped and tried to push his hand away. “David, if Jessa was the one who’d been drugged, would you sleep with her?”

David froze. “What are you talking about?”

Her long lashes were wet with tiny droplets, trembling as she blinked. She sounded stubborn, almost hurt. “You only make me take a cold shower because it’s me. None of you actually like me.”

David noticed her eyes were red, like she’d already cried today.

Before he could say anything, Ella suddenly lunged and bit his Adam’s apple.

He did not see that coming. The spot she bit was sensitive, and a shock ran through him, making his whole body tense.

She was going to be the end of him.

He grabbed her waist, surprised by how soft and delicate it felt, almost too fragile to hold.

Her waist was so tiny he could nearly circle it with just his hand.

She was all long legs and a little waist, and David finally realized just how dangerously tempting she was.

His breathing turned rough. He cupped her face and pulled her away, frustration and desire mixing in his voice. “Do you just like biting me?”
