The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 286

Lilly stepped back into the Lynch family estate, where the housekeeper Ava was already waiting at the door, her face lighting up the moment she saw her. “Miss, you’re finally home.”

Lilly had always had a birthmark on her face, something that had earned her the nickname “ugly chick” since she was little. Most girls would have let it get them down. Not Lilly. She was always cheerful and upbeat, and because of that, everyone in the house adored her.

She threw her arms around Ava for a quick hug. “Ava, I’m back. And guess what? I invited two people over today. I want to make sure they feel really… welcomed.”

She made sure to put extra weight on the word “welcomed.”

Ava beamed. “Are they your friends, Miss Lilly? You should definitely make more friends.”

Right then, a sleek luxury car pulled up outside. Two girls stepped out. It was Jessa and Sarah, just as Lilly expected.

Lilly smiled to herself. Speak of the devil.

It was their first time visiting the Lynch estate, and both Jessa and Sarah had clearly dressed to impress, hoping to win over Allie with their looks.

“Sarah, what do you think Allie looks like?” Jessa whispered as they walked up the driveway.

“I have no idea,” Sarah replied, “but I bet she’s going to love you, Jessa.”

Jessa grinned, but the smile vanished as soon as she spotted Lilly near the front steps.

“Lilly? What are you doing here?” Jessa blurted out, wide-eyed.

Sarah looked just as shocked. “Lilly, this is the Lynch family estate. How come you’re here?”

Neither of them ever thought they’d run into Lilly in a place like this.

Ava started to say something, but Lilly gently stopped her, turning to face Jessa and Sarah. “Yeah, this is the Lynch estate. Why do you think I’m here?”

The two of them didn’t hold back, throwing insult after insult.

Ava was shaking with anger. At first, she thought these girls were friends of her young miss. Now, she realized they were nothing but bullies, hurting the person she cared about most.

If Lilly hadn’t stepped in front of her, she would’ve called security already.

But Lilly didn’t seem upset at all. She just watched Jessa and Sarah calmly. “So, what brings you two to the Lynch estate?”

Jessa straightened, full of pride. “You’ve heard of Allie, right? The youngest daughter of the Lynch family? She invited us over today.”

Lilly gasped, putting on an expression of pure amazement. “Wait, seriously? Allie invited you to the Lynch estate?”

Jessa and Sarah immediately lifted their chins, looking as smug as ever. “That’s right, Lilly. Jealous? Allie is the Lynch family’s favorite daughter. She asked us to come hang out with her.”
