Jessa felt her confidence come rushing back. She shot Ella a bold look, then disappeared into the fitting room, dress in hand.

She really did look stunning in the lace dress, but there was something off in her expression. The waist was way too tight. She had practically held her breath in the fitting room just to zip it up.

Jessa did a little spin in front of David. “David, do I look good?”

Jessa just stood there, mortified.

Wyatt kept going. “Don’t stress about it, though. Even though you work so hard to keep your figure, Ella’s always had a tiny waist. She was just born that way. You can’t really compete with genetics.”
