The Paper Wife’s Empire novel Chapter 326

A soft moan escaped Ramona’s lips. The man loved the delicate skin of her collarbone and neck, always starting there, his lips trailing up or down as if he could never get enough, determined to kiss her until her bones melted and her mind went hazy.

“Ethan… are you some kind of hedonist?” she whispered.

She had heard somewhere that men who were obsessed with a woman’s collarbone were insatiable hedonists. The thought always surfaced when Ethan was kissing her into a state of blissful oblivion.

Her murmur went unanswered. Ethan’s body tensed as he felt her cool fingertips trace the scars on his shoulder, his only response a deeper, more passionate kiss.

By the time they finally got out of bed, it was already afternoon. The weather had cleared up.

While Ramona was brushing her teeth, Ethan emerged, already dressed in a sleek, casual outfit—a black velour tracksuit. The fabric was plush, the cut impeccable, accentuating his tall, lean frame. He looked even taller than his six-foot-three height, with a trim waist and long legs. The brand was discreet, with no visible logo, leaving Ramona to wonder who the designer was.

He fastened a sporty mechanical watch around his wrist and turned to find her staring at him, captivated. A slow smile spread across his face as he walked toward her.

“Am I that good-looking?”

“Yes, you are,” she admitted freely. “And I love your new clothes.”

Ethan’s smile widened. “They are new. YL sent them over a couple of days ago. A custom design, just for me.”

He was thrilled that she paid such close attention to him. His closet was overflowing with clothes, yet she had noticed this new addition immediately.

“If you like it, I’ll have them make a matching set for you,” he said, leaning in to look at their reflection in the mirror together.

Ramona’s face was fresh and bare. She had striking features that were handsome without makeup and breathtaking with it. Even in her simple loungewear, standing next to the impeccably handsome man, she held her own.

They looked inexplicably perfect together. In fact, her presence seemed to soften his usual stern, commanding aura, transforming him from a formidable tycoon into a devoted partner.

The thought made Ramona smile to herself.

Seeing her smile, Ethan’s heart melted. “You don’t like the idea?”
