The Heir And The Servent Started From A Bet novel Chapter 26

Chapter 26

Mia stared, unable to believe her eyes. Alex looked so different. The harsh lighting of the underground ring highlighted every sharp edge of his features, every line of muscle carved into his chest. His confidence radiated off him like a physical force, and for a moment, she forgot to breathe.

Her cheeks flushed as her gaze lingered on his bare chest. She couldn’t stop staring, no matter how much she tried to look

away.

God, she missed him. She missed his smirks, the way he carried himself like nothing could touch him. She missed the way he looked at her, even if it was just for a fleeting moment.

Alex entered the ring with the same air of nonchalance she’d come to associate with him. The corners of his mouth tugged into his signature smirk, and he looked so calm it was almost infuriating.

Then his eyes flicked toward the crowd, scanning lazily-until they locked on hers.

Time seemed to stop.

Mia’s heart thundered in her chest, each beat so loud she swore he could hear it. Her breath hitched as their eyes met, the instant connection between them undeniable. It was like the world had shrunk to just the two of them, everything else fading into the background.

But just as quickly as it happened, Alex broke the moment, turning his gaze elsewhere.

Mia’s chest ached.

“Is that Blackwell? No way! I’m betting on him too,” Emily said excitedly, completely unaware of the storm inside Mia.

Mia couldn’t look away from Alex. Every movement he made was mesmerizing…the confident way he walked, the way his muscles tensed with each step, the way his smirk seemed to mock the world. He was magnetic, and she was utterly helpless against the pull towards him

Her thoughts spiraled as she stared at him, her emotions a tangled mess of longing and confusion. She hated him for disappearing after that night, for leaving her to wonder and doubt herself. But at the same time, she couldn’t deny how much she wanted him.

As the fight began, Mia’s nerves skyrocketed. She winced with every punch Alex took, her hands clutching the edge of her seat so tightly her knuckles turned white. The sound of flesh hitting flesh was sickening, and she found herself closing her eyes more than once, unable to watch.

But Alex… Alex was incredible.

He moved like he was born for this. Each punch he threw landed with precision, each dodge was calculated and smooth. He was quick, ruthless, and relentless. The crowd roared with every move he made, chanting his name like he was some kind of god.

Mia couldn’t help it-she got invested. Her body leaned forward with each round, her heart racing as if she were in the ring with him.

Emily laughs leaning into her. ” Girl you’re so into this than I thought you will be”

Mia nods, eyes not leaving Alex.

When Alex landed the final blow, sending his opponent crashing to the ground, the crowd erupted in cheers.

It was so loud Mia didn’t notice because she was screaming her heart out too.

Emily hugs her, and then the boyfriend hugs them both, almost lifting them off the floor, Mia thinks the guy might actually

faint from excitement.

“The winner, Phantom A!” the announcer declared, lifting Alex’s arm in victory.
