Mia was mesmerized by Alex’s smile, her heart skipping a beat as their eyes locked again.

The intensity of his gaze melts her entire existence. Mia felt like she was drowning in his eyes. But before she could process what was happening, Alex’s friends jumped into the ring, congratulating him on his win and breaking the spell.

Mia watched, feeling a pang of disappointment, as Alex was led out of the ring, surrounded by his friends. She considered following him, but hesitated, not wanting to intrude

on his celebration.

As she sat back down, Emily’s boyfriend was busy hugging and kissing Emily. Emily was busy congratulating him on his

wins.

Mia’s attention, however, was focused on the corridor where Alex had disappeared.

Meanwhile, Alex was basking in the congratulations of his friends.

“Man, you can finally buy that penthouse you’ve been eyeing,” Lucas of his friends said, and Alex couldn’t help but smile. He had indeed been eyeing a particular penthouse, and winning this fight had brought him one step closer to making it his

own.

“I really don’t see any reason buying a house when you can stay in any of the Blackwell’s mansion,” Sam said, and Alex hums, loosening the tight grip on his arm.

‘Your father has houses everywhere dude”

“What did you call it, Sam?”

“Blackwell’s Mansions” Lucas response instead chuckling

“You’re the heir, man, everything belongs to you,” Sam said as a matter of fact.

“I want mine Dude, what part of it is not registering with you”

“I just think it’s a waste of money”

Alex stares at his friend Sam, it’s unusual for his friend to talk like this

Then he glanced at Lucas. “What happened to him?” Alex asked.

“Well, his ex-girlfriend came back to beg, and Sam here is in a kind of dilemma because he realized he still loves her,” Lucas said, and the two erupted into laughter.

“I’m right here guys” Sam said rolling his eyes

“Didn’t she cheat on you with your father?” Alex said, amused.

“Can you stop saying it like that?” Sam said, his face flushing with embarrassment.

“Well, it’s how it happened, you literally caught her in bed with your dad,” Alex said, and him and Lucas laughs again.

But their laughter was short-lived, as they saw Zoe standing at the door, a confident smile spreading across her face.

“Hello, boys,” she said, her voice dripping with charm.

The group greeted her warmly, but Alex just stared at her, his mind still preoccupied with thoughts of Mia for some reason.

His friend hit him on the back, telling him they are waiting.

“Don’t look at me like you want to bend me up against that wall, and fuck me till I can’t think straight” Zoe said, her eyes glinting with amusement.

“That’s exactly what I want to do,” Alex replied, his voice low and husky.

But before things could escalate further, Zoe changed the topic. “I saw her here, though,” she said, her eyes glinting with mischief. “Who knows, she might just allow you to bend her over there.”
