The Veil Of Sinner novel Chapter 12

“I can and I will never forget why she is here,”

Her shimmering gaze filled with more pain, hearing him saying those words about her to his mother.

He was a liar, a manipulator. He was doing all of this inhumanity with her because she was related to her uncle, Airkin, and he was punishing her for something she had no clue about.

She didn't know what was the problem between him and her uncle, but he had no right to punish her for this. She had done nothing wrong to him ever, but yet he chose to hurt her, to break her in his sick rivalry with her uncle.

He was a ruthless monster, and she hated him. She despised him for even existing.

“Mrs. Elzaek,” Prisila’s voice took her out of her thoughts. Eizlina turned her head around and saw Prisila in front of her, who was giving her concerned glances after seeing those tears in her eyes.

“You shouldn't be here,” Prisila said to her, extremely worried, knowing Eizlina might get in more danger if anyone would catch her eavesdropping on Theron and his mother's conversation.

Eizlina looked away from Prisila, hearing her. She took one last glance at him and his mother, which made her clench her jaw.

She would never give up to the monsters of this mansion so easily. She would definitely fight against them till her last breath.

Spinning around, she dashed back inside her room, which caused Prisila to sigh, and then she followed Eizlina inside the room.

Meanwhile in the hall, Theron's outrageous gaze peered at his mother.

“I know and I will never forget that I married her to break that fu#king ego of that Airkin. I married her to get Airkin on his fu#king knees….”

Winona silently listened to her son's every word while witnessing that nefarious rage burning in his gaze. The rage, which knew no boundaries of good, bad, right, wrong….moral and immoral.

The rage she herself had ignited inside her son for that one specific person. Airkin Kloez.

“But I also think we shouldn't forget that we need that girl alive and safe. She and her parents have always been harmless to us,” he uttered the fact to his mother.

“They were just a way for us to reach that Airkin Kloez, so I think we should be forgetting that she became that way for us through which we broke that bastard,” he clearly told all of this to his mother that he didn't care for that girl, but he needed her life, so it was necessary for him to take care of her life.

But was it really the only and entire truth for him? He really needed his life just to be alive for satiating his vengeance?

Winona didn't say anything back to her son because she knew once he made up his mind for something, no one and nothing could change it for him, no matter what. And right now, that girl had started making her place in his mind.

But what scared her was that who knew when that girl would start making a place in his heart too? That heart which she had never wanted her son to have for this brutal world.

Or perhaps, that girl had already started making her place in that heart of his?

“So I would tell you to not hurt her, neither emotionally nor physically because we will be needing her against that rascal, Airkin,” he said to his mother, maintaining his calm and respectful demeanour towards her. He had never ever talked to his mother in a raised voice, let alone insulting or disrespecting her in any way.

Yes, he didn't want his mother to hurt her in any way. But why when he himself had hurt her so much?

He didn't know why. Why didn't he want anyone else to even touch her with the intention to harm her. Not even his mother

“I am leaving for work now,” he uttered, earning a nod from Winona. Turning around, he walked out of the mansion.

With her clenched fists, Winona peered at her son's disappearing figure, because she could read him like an open book. She knew her son more than anyone and anything in this world, so she had already understood that dilemma floating inside his head regarding that girl.

He himself was hurting that girl, but didn't want anyone to even think about hurting her. And Winona knew this dilemma was the beginning of what kind of destruction.

But then a cunning smirk crept up on her face out of a sudden as she recalled something.

“I will not harm her, because….”she paused. Her fists relaxed.

“I will make you hurt her, son,” she murmured to herself, already aware of what she needed to do to make him break that girl in his own hands to the extent no one and nothing would be able to fix her again.

Not even Theron himself.
