The Veil Of Sinner novel Chapter 6

The second he slammed his mouth against hers, Eizlina bursted out crying. She started hitting him with her fists. Using every ounce of her strength, she tried to stop and push him away from her.

No, she couldn't let him do this with her. Never.

Vigorously struggling under him, she continuously hitted his shoulders, chest and arms, which irritated him really badly. Pulling back, he grabbed her jaw in a violent grip.

Theron glowered into her beguiling brown eyes, which were shimmering under that burning chandelier above them. Her face was glowing, even though it was completely carved with the tears of pain and vulnerability. But her helplessness had still not succeeded in fading her allure.

“Now, your denial will cost you the life of your loved ones, my dove,” he whispered against her lips, widening her eyes in dread. Theron left her jaw with a push, and then got up from her but Eizlina immediately grabbed his arm to stop him.

“No, no. Please, don't hurt them. Please,” she pleaded with him, tightly holding his arm to stop him from going to her family and loved ones and harming them, because she knew he could do anything. He was just not only brutal.

He was heartless. He could not feel anything.

“Please…don't h…hurt them,” she requested. Her voice was on the edge of breaking because her tears had even started making it difficult for her to talk. Her throat was hurting.

Turning his head around, he looked at her hands which were gripping his arm so tightly that her entire life depended on it. The girl, who was denying his touch, had turned so desperate to protect her loved ones that she was willing to touch him on her own.

Theron snapped his eyes back at her face, where he saw those heavy tears rolling down from her flushed cheeks. He lowered his head and took it closer to her.

“I will hurt them, and I will begin with…..” he brought his mouth closer to her ear.

“Airkin Kloez,” he husked in her ear. Her eyes enlarged in shock. Her uncle Airkin? No, she could not let him do this. She could not let him harm her uncle Airkin, especially because of her.

Eizlina witnessed him snatching his arm from her hold. He stepped down on the floor to leave, but she instantly grabbed his wrist this time.

“No, please. Please, don't hurt anyone,” she hurriedly stepped down on the ground.

“I….I am begging you. Please don't hurt anyone,” desperate to save the life of her loved ones from that cruel monster, Eizlina kneeled before him and clutched his leg.

“Please, don't. I am begging you. Please,” she teared up more. Turning his head around, he watched her kneeling on the ground.

Theron's palms curled, seeing her begging in front of him for the protection of Airkin's life. He loathed it more than anything.

He fully turned around, and then slowly crouched in front of her on his one knee.

For a brief moment, he just gazed at her, who had also joined her hands in front of him to save the life of her family from him.

“P…. please,” she could barely form her words now due to all the crying, pain and fear, but he just continued to stare into her glossy eyes, which were begging him to not do anything which would hurt her loved ones.

Tightly clutching her shivering hands before him, she lowered her head in front of him, believing that if this could be the only way to stop him from going after her family's life then she would continue to beg him like this all her life.

Suddenly, Eizlina felt him getting up on his feet, and before she could understand anything further, she witnessed herself getting lifted up from the floor. She took her head upward, and her eyes widened, seeing herself trapped in his arms.

She was about to protest but stopped when she realised he put her down on the bed gently, and then hovered his upper body over her.

“Never, ever dare to kneel or beg in front of anyone for anything,” his words shivered something inside her, especially seeing that unfathomable rage in his eyes.

Eizlina flinched when he gripped her chin again, but this time his hold was neither aggressive nor cold. It felt soft and warm.

“Did you understand me?” His voice was laced with a clear warning, but now his tone seemed to turn gentle. Eizlina was appalled by his sudden change in behaviour. He himself left her with no other option than to kneel before him, but now he was getting angry for crouching in front of him?

What was wrong with this man?

Peering into her eyes for a brief moment, he attempted to get up from her, but she clutched his arm to stop him.

“Are y…you going to hurt them?” Her tone was laced with pure dread, which brought a smirk on his face. Looking at her again, he tucked her hair behind her ear, making her gulp.

Why did he suddenly turn gentle with her, especially after seeing her kneeling before him?

“You know how to stop me from hurting them, and you also know….” He pushed his face closer to her ear. “What do you need to let me do to you for keeping me here with you, my dove?” he husked in her ear, clenching her heart.

She knew what he wanted to do with her, but she didn't want it. How could she? Even the thought of letting him touch her naked skin shivered her soul in horror, so how could she allow him to let her ruin her completely?

At his words, he felt her slowly pulling back her hand from his arm. She lowered her head in submission, and just softly wailed under him, which made him realise how innocuous she was.

She could do anything for the people she loved. Even allowing others to hurt her.

“You are really something else, Mrs. Elzaek,” he cooed in her ear, making Eizlina look at his face again. She witnessed him smirking, but this time she also caught something extremely unidentifiable in his eyes. Something she had never seen in the eyes of anyone for her ever.

Eizlina felt him pushing his face closer to hers to kiss her again, so she tightly squeezed her eyes shut, but didn't dare to turn her head away because she knew her denial was going to cost her the life of her family member, and she could not afford to let it happen in any way.

If by enduring the worst, she could protect her loved ones, then she would let him destroy him, even though it would mean to kill her own self after he would get done ruining her completely.

Theron stopped himself from kissing her. He looked at her face, and seeing her tightly closed eyes, he grinned. He knew she still didn't want this, but yet was not stopping him anymore for the sake of her closed ones.

“Selflessness should not be involving our own harm, Mrs. Elzaek,” he tenderly murmured against her lips, making Eizlina slowly unlatch her lashes. Their eyes collided.

“It would leave you with nothing in the end, so we need to be selfish to survive this life,” his words ached something inside really very deep inside her. Was he telling her to be selfish just because he could never be selfless, or was it because his selflessness had cost him a lot in his past, which had turned him selfish to this ruthless extent?

Passing her a smirk, he got up from her. Eizlina followed his action, and sat beside him. She pulled her knees till her chest to cover herself, which widened his smirk, who didn't even need to look at her to know what she was doing.
