Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 116

Annabelle grinned, her tone full of schadenfreude. “Serves them right for acting all high and mighty. Now they’ll finally see there are always bigger fish in the sea.”

Every industry was evolving at breakneck speed, and Yadel Group had only reached the top by seizing opportunities early.

With so many people gunning for them, Lucas’s arrogance was like waving a red flag.

Instead of playing it safe, he was making enemies left and right, handing his competitors the ammunition they needed.

No wonder Sophie had asked Annabelle to send reporters to stake out the police station. Once the press got hold of him, they wouldn’t need to lift a finger; vultures would swoop in and tear him apart.

Sophia spoke up, warning Annabelle, “Annabelle, you know how Lucas holds a grudge; once he’s out of the station, he’ll come straight for you. Whatever you do, don’t stay at home.”

They were each other’s Achilles‘ heel.

If Lucas trapped Annabelle at home to force Sophia to show herself, there was no way Sophia could just stand by and watch him make Annabelle suffer.

Before Annabelle could respond, the doorbell rang.

She walked to the entryway, checked the security feed, and nearly jumped when she saw Lucas’s intimidating glare staring right into the camera.

“Sophie, you’ve got some kind of sixth sense. Speak of the devil–he’s really here,” Annabelle blurted, half joking, half stunned.

Sophia frowned. “I knew he’d show up right away. So, what are you going to do?”

“What can I do? Just go toe–to–toe with him.” Annabelle shot back, shrugging like it was no big deal.

“Annabelle,” Sophia snapped, worry all over her face. “Don’t mess around with this. He’s obviously out for trouble.”

In the past, Sophia never thought Lucas would actually hurt Annabelle, but now, even she wasn’t so sure anymore.

He was like a thug in a suit these days. If he decided to use force, Annabelle wouldn’t stand a chance.

“Chill. I’ve got a way to handle him,” Annabelle promised, her tone full of swagger.

She ended the call, hopped on TikTok’for a livestream, and told her PR team to throw cash at the promo–she wanted her channel front and center, blowing up the trending page.

As Annabelle was just starting her livestream, Lucas was already losing his patience outside her door.

[The streamer has a seriously great voice.]

Wait? Is this some spoiled princess getting us hyped before a live shopping haul? Let’s enjoy the show.]

Less than two minutes in, the stream blew past a thousand viewers. Annabelle tapped her phone and fired off a massive cash giveaway–3,000 dollars straight up for grabs.

The chat went ballistic. Once everyone saw she was actually throwing out real money, people started calling in their friends at lightning speed.

Before ten minutes were up, the stream had exploded past thirty thousand viewers. Annabelle was basically cramping up from chucking out so many cash drops.

She leaned into the camera, eyes sparkling. “Keep spreading the word, everyone. Things are about to get real. I’m going to stream the real fireworks, so don’t go anywhere. More cash drops coming up soon.”

The chat blew up–question marks everywhere, with fans getting hyped and ready for the show, itching to see what jaw- dropping drama Annabelle was about to unleash.

Meanwhile, Lucas was outside, fully out of patience; he was hammering the door with all his strength.
