Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 117

“Annabelle, stop hiding out in there. If you don’t open up, I’m breaking this door down,” he shouted, his voice carrying through the hall.

The longer Annabelle refused to come out, the more Lucas suspected something fishy was going on behind that door.

For all he knew, maybe Sophia was hiding inside, and he was just about to bust her, caught in the act.

Annabelle flipped her phone around, aiming the lens right at her front door. When she switched the camera, viewers saw her place decked out with luxury décor, and got one gorgeous close–up that had everyone stunned.

[Oh damn, she is so gorgeous. She just showed her face and that’s all I ever needed.]

[Did you guys see that Ferris wheel outside? That’s smack in the hottest district in Jelasburg.]

[Apartments there cost an arm and a leg–billion–dollar penthouses, not even kidding.]

[Am I really the only one who spotted that she’s got legit antique vases chillin‘ on her shelf?]

[And that scroll on the wall? Looks like it’s from a famous painter. Damn, this girl is seriously rich. What’s she even doing livestreaming?]

The chat was absolutely blowing up, but Annabelle wasn’t even paying attention.

Lucas was completely losing his cool outside, and Annabelle knew that if she opened the door now, she’d give everyone watching the kind of drama they were dying for.

The entire internet was just waiting for Lucas to make another scene. If she didn’t completely crush him today, he’d really start thinking Sophia didn’t have anyone left to back her up.

Annabelle set her phone up on the tripod, watching the chat go nuts. With a sly grin, she pressed a finger to her glossy red lips.

“Shhh, guys, quiet down. The show’s about to start. Don’t blink, or you’ll miss the drama,” she whispered, voice playful.

Then, without another word, she spun around and strode toward the door.

That was when the viewers finally heard the pounding on the door. It was a bit muffled, but they could make out a man’s voice shouting outside.

The chat went wild with speculation, everyone glued to their screens, hearts racing with anticipation.

[Here we go.]

[Once that door swings open, who knows what kind of wild character’s going to jump out? Eyes peeled, everyone–get ready

for chaos.]

Annabelle didn’t leave anyone in suspense; she just yanked the door open and blocked the entrance, making sure every viewer got the perfect shot.

She was shorter than Lucas, so his face was front and center for the livestream.

[Wait? This dude looks familiar. Where have I seen him before?]

[For real, he looks like some rising celeb or something.]

Face flushed with rage, Lucas shoved his face right up to the camera and bellowed, “Where are you hiding Sophia?

“If you don’t give her to me tonight, I’m not leaving, no matter what.”

Annabelle’s pulse pounded as she saw Lucas looming right next to her phone; she was practically holding her breath, hoping he wouldn’t realize she was livestreaming the whole thing.

She hadn’t even baited him into saying the craziest stuff yet; no way could she let him catch on now.

She amped up the provocation, her tone edged with mockery. “So, Lucas, what’s your big plan to settle the score? Going to grab a golf club and break three more of her ribs, is that it?”
