Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 128

Chapter 128

Sophia lashed out at everyone, but she wasn’t completely off the railsshe knew if she actually injured someone, there would be no escaping the law.

When she saw a pool of urine spreading under Emily, Sophia jerked her knife to the side, barely missing Emily’s leg, and slammed it onto the floor.

There was a loud crash.

Emily screamed, My legs. I lost my legs. Help.”

Wendy and Tessa rushed in and saw Emily screaming, eyes shut tight, shaking like a leaf in terror.

Sophia stood nearby, knife in hand; the floor had split under the impact, shards scattering.

Lucas sat on the stairs, his legs turned to jelly, just staring, wideeyed at Sophia in disbelief.

Tessa had no idea what Wendy was thinking, but she found Sophia oddly impressive.

In marriage, women were almost always at a disadvantage. Most got beaten a few times and just ended up keeping their heads down, terrified to even think about fighting back.

She thought, Mrs. Westwood seems fragile, but she fights back so fiercely. What a cool woman. Honestly, if I didn’t need this job, I would be clapping and cheering for her!

Lucas could still hear the sharp, grating sound of the cleaver hitting the floor echoing in his ears, making his

teeth ache.

Right now, Sophia, gripping that cleaver, looked fierce and totally badass.

Lucas thought, Damn, am I crazy? She used to be so gentle and considerate, always putting me first, yet I thought she was easy to handle, never had a temper.

However, now, he could feel waves of excitement surging through his body. And he thought if he could actually conquer a woman as fierce as Sophia, the thrill would be killing him.

Sophia didn’t care what Lucas was thinkinghis eyes on her just made her feel disgusted.

She lifted her arm, the cleaver aimed straight at Lucas, her voice cold and steady. I’m asking you again. Are you getting a divorce or not?

Lucas looked all smug and defiant, pulled out a cigarette, bit it between his lips, lit it up, and blew out a puff of smoke.

I’m not divorcing you. What, are you gonna chop me to pieces?he sneered, like he was daring her.

Sophia sneered. Fine, remember what you just said. I gave you one last shot to divorce me today. Since you refuse, then just face the consequences.

Chapter 128

She flung the cleaver onto the floor.

The blade hit the floor with a metallic crash, making Emily snap her mouth shut in fright. Sophia didn’t even hesitateshe gave her a hard kick.

Don’t you dare scream. Get to the kitchen and make me something decent. If it tastes like garbage, I’ll cut off your hands,Sophia growled.

Her expression was vicious. She wasn’t bluffing at all.

Emily struggled to get up, but her legs were so shaky that she kept collapsing onto the floor.

Just remembering what happened made her burst into tears, sobbing and sniffling uncontrollably.

However, she didn’t dare cryshe was terrified Sophia would pick up that cleaver and chop her leg off.

She fought her way to her feet and was about to drag herself to the kitchen when Sophia shot her a look of pure contempt. Go take a shower and change your clothes. Look at yourself. What a disgrace.

From the corner of her eye, Emily could see Wendy and Tessa practically biting their lips to keep from cracking up. She had never been so humiliated in her whole life.

However, in front of Sophia, Emily didn’t even dare to speak. Clutching the handrail, she scurried upstairs without a sound.

Lucas pinched his nose as she passedshe was so ashamed that she covered her face and fled.

Sophia dusted off her hands. After all that craziness, she was starving. She made a beeline for the couch, flopped down, and ripped open a bag of snacks.

With the crisis over, Lucas finally came downstairs. He wanted to sit beside Sophia, but her glare stopped him cold, so he settled for the seat across from her.

Lucas looked at her. Hey, I’m not provoking you. Can you please drop the cleaver?

Sophia mentally called him a coward.
