Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 263

After dinner, the resort staff came by to clear away the dishes.

By now, the sky was pitch black—perfect timing to soak in the night view.

Annabelle leaned back in her chair, gazing up at the sea of stars, and sighed, 'This is what you get when you leave all that city noise behind.

Only by escaping the smog-choked city could anyone witness a starry sky this gorgeous.

Sophia cuddled a bottle of sparkling water, settling down right next to Annabelle as she gazed up at the night sky.

Countless stars sparkled overhead, the Milky Way stretched across the darkness, and light seemed to rain down like scattered diamonds from above.

"It's so beautiful," Sophia murmured.

Annabelle laced her fingers behind her head. "No wonder this is the VIP area. Check out that lake in the distance-doesn't it look just like a fairy lake?"

The stars and moon were reflected on the rippling water, glittering Jike scattered jewels-truly a sight to behold.

"It really does," Sophia agreed.

After soaking in the night view for a while, Annabelle glanced around. "Where's Uncle Richard?"

"He just said he wasn't feeling well, so he went to rest in the tent for a while," Sophia replied.

They weren't planning to camp out by the lake tonight. After dinner, they just wanted to take advantage of the perfect weather and soak in the night view for a bit.

Once they were worn out from all the fun, they'd head back to the hotel to get some rest.

Annabelle glanced toward the tent. With only the lantern hanging outside, the inside looked pitch black-she couldn't see a thing.

She turned back. "Emily disappeared right after dinner. She's not really the type to just slip away quietly."

Sophia nodded. "Yeah, I noticed too. Maybe she went back to the hotel."

Annabelle leaned in close to Sophia, keeping her voice low as she gossiped, "You didn't catch it at dinner, but Emily was basically glued to Uncle Richard with her eyes. Sophie, do you think she's secretly crushing on him?"

Sophia laughed, "Please, who isn't secretly staring at Richard? The guy's too handsome for his own good."

Richard's the type who could just stand there and not say a word, and he'd still have admirers lining up. The guy's charm is practically magnetic.
