Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 64

Lucas slammed his palm on the table and shouted, “How dare you! Emily’s the influencer I personally hired. Everyone knows she’s got real talent. Seems to me Sophia has bribed you, trying to pin all the mess on Emily.”

The marketing manager was utterly speechless.

He thought, ‘What talent does Emily even have? She spent all day in the office gaming, her live product reviews were a complete mess, and she gave answers that made no sense whatsoever–just leaving everyone doubting our products.

‘Rather than explaining the good points, she picked fights with customers online, even smashing a couple of computers out of frustration.

I think her only real “talent” is destroying the hard work of generations at Yadel Group, driving the company straight into the ground.

The marketing manager was livid, his face turning purple with rage, but he didn’t dare say a word.

Lucas swept his icy gaze around the room and spoke with cold authority, “Figure out your own mess. If I catch anyone trying to make Emily the scapegoat again, don’t bother showing up tomorrow.”

With that, he stood and strode out. Everyone was left speechless.

Back in his office, Lucas yanked at his tie in frustration and turned to Kevin, who was trailing behind him. “What’s Sophia been up to today?”

Kevin was momentarily stunned by the question and answered on instinct, “Mrs. Westwood’s still pretty banged up, so she’s probably holed up in the utility room, resting.”

Kevin couldn’t help but think, ‘Man, he’s such a freak. Making his legit wife recover in a utility room? If people heard about this, they’d probably want to slap him.‘

The mention of “utility room” grated on Lucas’s nerves. He whipped around, shooting Kevin a cold glare. “Are you trying to get on my bad side now?”

Kevin stammered, “No, sir.”

Lucas ripped off his tie and flung it onto the desk. “Call Sophia. Make sure she cooks lunch and brings it herself.”

He thought, ‘Now that she’s awake, she should do her job as my wife. Taking care of my stomach is part of her job.

“Mr. Westwood, Mrs. Westwood’s still healing up. Are you sure you want her to cook and deliver lunch right now? What if she’s so mad that she just poisons you out of spite?” Kevin warned.

He thought, ‘Come on, Mr. Westwood. Could you at least try being a decent person for once?‘

Lucas remembered the icy, hateful glare Sophia shot him this morning.

He drove back to Cherry Grove. The moment he opened the door, someone launched herself straight into his arms, burying her face in his solid chest.

His back broke out in a cold sweat as a sharp memory of his birthday party flashed through his mind.

She had grabbed a lamp post and, without hesitation, swung it straight at him–bashing his head and leaving him bleeding

all over.

He moved protectively in front of Emily and said in a trembling voice, “Sophia, are you insane?”

Sophia stared back at them, cold as ice. She felt absolutely nothing, not even pain.

Without hesitation, she swung the golf club, shattering the antique vase by the door. Shards scattered everywhere.

She let out a cold, bitter laugh. “Yeah, I’m insane. But it’s because you guys made me this way.

Lucas, either you agree to the divorce today, or the three of us go down together. Who knows? Maybe we can have fun in hell together.”
