Lilith nodded. "Alright." She turned back, giving Drusilla a warning glance before she left.

Serge walked back to Drusilla's side, checked her out, and asked, "You okay?"

He had been talking to Lilith, and Drusilla had been right there, probably catching every word.

Drusilla replied, "I'm fine. I’m actually used to it."

Though she thought she'd heard enough to no longer care, she found herself still seething with anger. She had planned on taking her two kids and leaving this mess behind. But hearing Lilith's words reignited her sense of indignation!

Drusilla followed Serge to the door when he said, "Remember to wait for my call. I'll find those documents for you."

Drusilla paused, then finally found her voice, "Thank you."
