Blythe glanced at Drusilla, fully aware that Enoch's tough stance on Colton was all for protecting Drusilla. This, in truth, rubbed Blythe the wrong way. But with Colton standing right there, she decided to hold her tongue.
She suggested to Colton, “Let’s head back for some dinner, shall we?”
“No way,” Colton retorted with stubborn pride.
If Enoch was denying him food, he’d rather starve.
Blythe looked at the little rebel and sighed, “Who did you get this stubborn streak from?”
Shortly after, Cormac appeared, spotting Colton and Drusilla. He offered Colton a hot dog from his hand, “Here, have this.”
Colton shot him a look and refused, “No, thanks.”
Blythe, watching the scene unfold, walked inside to yell at Enoch. With Colton’s attitude, there was no way he’d eat unless Enoch gave the green light.
Drusilla, trying to ease the tension, said, “Colton, I’m going to grab something. How about you come with me? We can stop by Verena’s place.”
Colton nodded in agreement, “Okay.”
“I’ll be just a moment, wait here for me. I need to pick up a few things upstairs.”
Her purse and keys were still in her room. After saying this, Drusilla headed inside, making her way upstairs.
