Drusilla was at a loss for words on how to explain her current situation with Enoch to the others.
She said, "I'm just worried about Enoch, his health hasn't been the best lately, and I always hope he'd get better. If you think I did something wrong, then I've got nothing else to say."
Blythe replied, "No one's saying you did anything wrong, it's just the way you're handling things that's problematic. Forget it, if you don't want to listen, let's just drop it."
She didn't really want to argue with Drusilla, realizing that Drusilla wasn't the type to take advice to heart.
Lilith, sitting on the side, glanced at Blythe's disappointed look towards Drusilla and smirked. She just couldn't stand seeing Drusilla getting all the attention at home!
But with Drusilla upsetting Enoch, who knows what it would be like at home now!
Lilith said, "It's the weekend, and I was thinking of inviting Verena over to watch the kids. Aunt Drusilla, you don't mind, right?"
Drusilla raised an eyebrow, looking at Lilith, "Of course not."
Drusilla had been wanting to invite Verena over too, but was pondering over how to approach the Taylor family about it. Lilith's mention actually did her a favor.
Lilith said, "Then I'll give Verena a call."
After saying that, she picked up her smartphone and called Verena.
Before long, Verena arrived.
Verena was fashionably dressed today, her hair tied up with a chic scrunchie and a headband, looking bold and bright.
Just a charming young lady! Though not exactly young, she always managed to dress as if she was eighteen.
Verena walked in, and Lilith waved at her, "Hey Verena."
